"Yes, I'm sure and I can agree to that," you told her with an equally serious, straight face.

You are comfortable with your life. You have close friends and are excelling at school. Soon, you feel your lifestyle threatened by men in red who suddenly pop up everywhere you go. Then, as you feel your questions will drive you crazy, a woman in purple gives you the opportunity of a lifetime to work with these strange men. How will you adjust to your new life?

I'm no literary major or anything so I'm not 100% sure on the usage of the term 2nd person, but this sure feels like it to me. The story is written with *you* as the main character while the story describes *your* actions. It's quite trippy at points, you'll get what I mean.
I enjoyed reading the familiar quotable lines and got a kick from reading about what is essentially the TF2 RED frat house but they adopted a communal younger sister. What a weird phrase.
Anyway, prepare to read about nine fully grown men between their late twenties and fifties fawn over a young lady and fight eachother (sometimes to the death) for her attention while her own studies, college prospects and prior life gets laid at the wayside so she can kill the clones of her new family.
Watch frustratingly stupid and emotionally stunted mass murderers clumsily guide a young woman into adulthood, drink lead and pick fights with eachother until they get to pick a fight with their mirror images. All while *You* get to go through the most slap dash set of lessons on how to, become super human and shoot dangerous armaments.
*You* seem to be somewhat of a freak *yourself* in this story, it takes all of half a conversation to find out, and come to terms with the fact
that *your* spy drugged *your* mother so that she would be willing to send you to your likely death(s) in the gravel pits.
And *you* never mention it again.
In short a believable characterization of the mercs (if they had some deep set reason to innately like a person) and a very sad young lady attempt to live under the same roof, with dramatic consequences.
4/5 The medic crawled out of emesis blue and the doppelstrat/*you* dynamic is how I imagine the Administrator and Pauling. One is a frazzled over worked mess, the other a terrifying presence with coal for a heart.
