- PurpurrRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I binged the entire thing up to the latest chapter! As I'm also getting into baking some simple stuff I couldn't help but read this! it's such a fun read. There was no dull moment and the underlying world is still present while keeping things low stakes for now but still gives you tons of potential in the future on how it can escalate. Here's to the next few chapters!

- Ar548Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is an absolutely incredible slice of life adventure with great characters, style, and writing. On top of that the grammar is impeccable. The premise of magic meets baking is a surprisingly effective stort medium and both the characters and the author seem to enjoy the process. Further, the lore that provides background to the world is detailed and quite interesting while never feeling like expose or an infodump. The same can be said of the character backgrounds.I can't wait for more of this wonderful story. This is a relatively early review so there's not a ton to describe yet but I will update roots as more arrives.Minimum word count spoilerMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word countMinimum word count
- Chele42Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is just the type of system story that I love. Cozy, slice of life, characters that respond in realistic ways. This is very well written, few grammar errors. I am anxiously waiting more, and will continue to follow and read this author.
If you like slice of life, you should like the story as much as I do. - Crazy_ManRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I read the previous series, but I dropped it when I looked on the pattern and found out that it was ending, because I hate endings. This is already excellent, it has a system, which I love, is kinda warm and fuzzy, which is very preferable, and it just has that, how can I describe it? The first word that comes to mind is “zest.” It has just a hint of sourness that comes from grief of the main character and them becoming a better person than they were in the past/future.
- LucasOnFireRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Great story so far. The grammar is great with little to no errors, the chapters are great in length, and the time travelling isn't used to instantly gain knowledge and get back at all betrayals. The lore is also given just enough that you can try to piece together the story without having all the answers immediately. Amazong potential and I wish the author the best in their journey.
- GrampsGevaudanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It’s got a lot going for it. But most importantly… I appreciate the baking and cooking as more of the advancement instead of hacking and slashing. It’s not brand new, but it’s piping hot out of the oven here. It’s worth the time. I finished up to the current chapter in 3 days, easy. It’s quite good.
- DarkFyreKingRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The premise of the story is an interesting take on the trope of going back in time, and I'm eagerly anticipating Melina's journey of learning to bake. I'm excited to see what sort of shenanigans will come, and how she comes to terms with her new life.
The story so far is well-written. Consistently good grammar and spelling, and the pacing has been comfortable. I wish the author good luck and great successes as they continue writing. - LikeSolidRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Okay, I'll cave. One advanced review coming up. Ill start with business and then personal thoughts.Style score: The writing style is something I wish I could grasp myself. It pulls you along, and I think that it fits the pacing of the story very well. The ways that the characters speak, the current worldbuilding, even the way everything is spaced is satisfying. I don't have any criticism for the style, keep it going strong.Story score: The pacing is delightful, and doesn't seem rushed (so far). I can mention a few mistakes, and a few things that don't make sense to me, but they border on the pedantic. The story is written well, and was clearly written with a dream behind it. If i could label one gripe, It would be the worldbuilding from the earliest chapters. I love the effort that was put in to set up major story points and potential foreshadowing, but sometimes the readers don't have to know everything.Example: We skipped the entirety of climbing to the peak of the mountain, so we didn't get to see even a smidge of how hard is was for a malnourished archmage, one clearly out of her element, to just make it up one mountain. Its a startling dichotomy to what comes right after it, the scene where we find out about this insane magic ritual. It felt a bit like that one scene in particular was rushed, or unpolished. The mountain scene was almost entirely skipped, and the ritual scene had too much detail and at the same time, not enough detail. As an apex event, it should have more meaning. More detail, even if it's not related. Talk about the snow on the mountain, or slipping in her own blood. Talk about how the circle looks, and a chance of failure. How it maybe shouldn't have worked, but it did either way. Don't change your story because of this comment, but a little detail could go a long way, in my opinion.Grammar score: No story is perfect, but this story did pretty well. It feels like it was combed through a lot, and I appreciate the effort.
- Quartzreeder_the_readerRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Objective comment:
The stories pacing is well maintained, the increased leveling up is always moving but never slowing or speeding, the romantic sub plot is well done(unlike other drawn out love stories), and the description of the characters is enough to fuel my imagination
Personal comment:
I see the new cover art, and it is BEAUTIFUL. I love it, congrats on getting an artist to help draw it for you! More fuel to feed my imagination!
