Description

Not every time traveler has a plan...

Levi Morrison is not a hero. He's one more warrior on the front lines of Earth's long defeat, any hope beyond simple survival in the endless fight a distant memory.

But as the demon hordes finally conquer Earth's last stronghold, and his moment of death arrives...

Levi finds himself back on Earth. A peaceful Earth, where the dungeons and the system have only begun to appear, where the opening of the demon portals is months away. An Earth of eleven years ago, one he no longer understands.

He knows one thing: Fight. Level. Survive.

And he knows another thing: the demons are coming.

Even if he's the last person anyone would have chosen for such a task, if the fate of the planet is to be changed, it's up to him.

And that's not something he can do as a simple warrior. Instead, he must overcome the scars of the dark and desperate future that feels so recent to him and become something else entirely: a Tamer, a Summoner... and perhaps even a hero after all.

I love reincarnation stories and after reading this I am in love with the summoner/tamer class. Interactions between MC and monsters are cute.
Little pet peeves: Some of the scenes with the side character are slow and with the small chapters it makes me feel like nothing happened at time.
Still love the story and can't wait for more!

Honestly not sure what's up with all the complaints on this story, but to each their own. Since I decided to give it a chance anyway because I was craving dungeon delving stories, I will say I was way more than pleasantly surprised.
First, while true that there's a frontload of dungeon delving, the chapters are short so I don't think this is indicative of a "the pacing will all be delving" thing that a lot of Chinese Webnovels that don't even have a plot amount to. (It's certainly not shaping-up to be near as slow moving as something like Chyrsalis, which would have lost me and likely many others if not for the snippets from the colonies future.)
And, this delving is interspersed with interactions with the outside world that highlight the MC's situation as well as interations with his tamed creatures that are, frankly, solidly within the best bracket of non-overplayed comedy in a story. That also doesn't make it comedy. You know, when a situation is funny but it's not super contrived or dragging this down? This does that.
Second, the character is getting a lot of "meh, bland Sue-character" and a lot of "incompotent" complaints. He . . . is much much less bland than most, because the lively interactions make the backstory not be the only thing about the MC. But even still the backstory is well-incorporated with actual impact.
Like, he has a family. Yes, he's avoiding them, but for like . . . maybe two/three in-world days so far when he was already transported back during a job-convention he was on without them, and in the interm his choice of avoiding them is still having an actual impact because he's now missing his job-stuff so his odd behaviour has been noticed and the prep is in for it to cause a rift or propel his family forward. Nothing is being put in the story and then just ignored. AND the story has properly used this time away from his family to show his fears around this exact issue. Mind-controlling hypnotism beasts are like that, good plot tools, this on

So Levi is our MC who was one of the last survivors and gets sent back to his past. Now he is trying everything new and trying to get involved to give people a chance to survive. For the timing we have about 3-6 months from when he gets sent back to when the apocolypse truly begins. There is a lot of dungeon grinding to begin with but it is relevant to the show the mindset of the MC and the damage the future/past has done to him.  This is a story so far about redemption and trying to do things different.  To give time for people to grow so that they might survive when the Demons come.
The Story is very heavy on descriptions in First party POV. The author has done a great job of limiting what we know to just that POV. There are ups and downs in the descriptions so the audience can know what the author wants to describe. Which with some editing would be helpful for new readers.
The system that the author uses is as minimal as you want it because whlile the author does go into some of the mathmatics of how things work if you choose to jump over it you won't miss on much and the story isn't based around it.
Overall I have enjoyed this story and can't wait to read more of what is to come.

i just finished binging up until 190 odd and am blown away. Very good character depth and development for not only the main character but also the side characters without feeling like it's been drawn out. Has you egging them on wanting the characters to succeed.
I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good exciting and well paced book. Action scenes are well described and magic system and story is well thought out

This story is very, very, very good, the next Defiance Of The Fall I'd wager, the character development is steady without any major dips or peaks and every character has a use they're not just one-chapter plot devices.
Also, the minions are just so relatable they feel almost human I just love it.

The most common complaint about this story is the slow pacing and the endless dungeon grinding. Yeah, maybe the author went a little overboard in those aspects, but the story doesn't feel like it's going to stay here. The main character is MASSIVELY traumatized by the events leading up to the story's beginning and is currently avoiding everyone in his life so that he can better prepare for the coming apocalypse. Well... that and he just can't handle the emotions surrounding the sudden shift from world ending disaster back to modern human society. The author did a great job of capturing the psyche of someone with that kind of emotional whiplash.
It's a slow start, for sure, but this one is worth a chance if you've got the time to invest in it. I'll be keeping up with it and waiting for the day that the plot to get going in earnest. I think its setting up for something great.

This author does a great job at managing plot lines and characters on a big scale. The story is pretty slow but it does a good job of making you care about the characters.
The grammar quality is great. Their prose isn't the cleverest on the site. But it has almost no small scale issues. The only one I found were in chapters I enjoyed enough to read multiple times.
In the mid scale they do a good job too due to balancing different content type well. The. Worldbuilding is cool and presented well. And not too fast or slow.
The short scale pacing is a bit rough sometimes. I almost quit the story due to getting fatigued by the dungeons. I generally like them. But sometimes he spends like 4+ chapters in one dungeon. Overall, it could benefit from pruning down and refining some of the content. Although it doesn't need much in the way of proofreading or line work. Although I could see it becoming amazing if they wanted to do that for an Amazon release.
Overall, if you like fairly slow stories I would recommend this story. It does slow pacing better than the majority of slow stories. But, if you get tired of the dungeons I would recommend skipping every 3rd dungeon or so. It makes it a bit better. When they wrap up plot lines they do a really good job of making it satisfying without losing momentum as a story.

MC gers to redo to prevent end of the world. No Pressure... Not.
Struggles to balance the responsibiity with the reality of humans being stubborn idiots.
Dungeon crawls, hostile System interface, interesting class potential.
Was a Fighter, this time coming back with some knowledge to try a specialized class despite risks.
Finally agrees to put info online and let humanity do what they will.
Story is dugeon crawl, kinda slow at times, a bit emotial baggage heavy but its picking pick up now that he has company / willing to let others help.

Re: Title is Too Long is a story which is skillfully written. Trying to break it down into the individual elements, there's not anything in particular which stands out as fantastic, but the elements simply coalesce into a well-told, engaging story. If you are interested by the premise, then you should give this a read. It won't disappoint.
The characters are well-written, and it's always interesting to get glimpses into how the rest of the world is reacting to these changes.

A story of a man returning after the demon apocalypse, becoming humanity's only chance... or so you'd think.
Story: This is in my opinion where the story suffers the most. The author promises slow burn and tons of dungeon grinding, and that's exactly what you get, so I'm not sure why some people seem to be complaining about this in other reviews. What is a bit jarring though, is the copious amounts of asspulling done when clearly the MC or his friends should've died ten times over.
The dungeons are presented as unfair, hostile, and getting exponentially stronger than humans. So it is with little surprise, that the MC and his companions struggle in them. Most of the boss fights are essentially against bullet sponges, that keep taking hits like it's nothing until they miraculously drop dead when they hit 0%. MC sometimes goes into these fights with 10-20 tamed creatures, most or all of which get fucked before the boss goes below 50% hp, so why should we as the readers believe he can turn the fight around in their favor. They couldn't do it with numbers, but suddenly they can survive with 2-4 people left.
Some of them are believable since they f.e. get a second wind from level ups, or nice strategies, but a good amount of them just aren't believeable.
Aside from that, even though it is supposed to be a slow-burn, the story drags on at certain points. The most recent arc of the story is very interesting, though.
Style: The story is pretty consistent throughout. Most of the story is told from the MC's perspective, but every now and again the POV switches to either a party member in another location, or a random person(in order to show an outside perspective of the happenings)
    Grammer: I haven't noticed any mistakes, or if I did I don't remember :)
Character: The characters are pretty good. The MC itself is fairly complex, having witnessed the end of the world and all that, and it shows. He has several hangups, makes stupid decisions, and has overall been pretty traumatiz
