Our ancestors had nothing. They were slaves, forced to work until their backs gave in and their hands bled. Through a gruelling procedure, the Tranlinian people turned our ancestors into demi-humans. They bent their bodies to turn them into warriors who were expected to fight as proxies in a war between two gnome empires. Instead of fighting their own wars, they sent us, demi-humans, into battle.

One day, the Oracle sparked a rebellion. A rebellion that engulfed the entire Nordreikh. By showing them a future they could reach with their own strength, the Oracle gave our ancestors the most important thing of all. It gave them hope. Connected by their shared suffering and driven by this hope, they cut their chains, they slayed their former masters, and they took the Nordreikh for themselves.

Thus was founded our proud country of Reikha. A great tale. Perhaps our greatest pride. But the story continues.

Our ancestors had now put themselves between two raging empires. The threat was far from over. They got to work fortifying the borders and setting up a government, but not everybody helped. There were many who talked about travelling north. Talking about an easy life, far away from the dangers of the two empires. Driven by their cowardice, they wanted to flee from the dangers in the south, and so they abandoned the country our ancestors had worked so hard to build. The Oracle led them north, and our ancestors were left to hold the two empires at bay. Eventually they founded their own country, Freyland.
