Stuck in my own world so I'm going to abuse the magic system

Description

After writing over a million words and deciding that I was nowhere near finished, I tried to find a new thing to write. Should I work on a new character? A new world? Or maybe I'd expand on one of the stories of an existing character, to give them new depths that my readers hadn't yet seen. Little did I know that life would choose the next story for me. And I wouldn't be the one to write it.

I've seen enough anime and read enough stories to know about the isekai stereotype. Never thought it would happen to me. Who does?

But since I'm here, and I can't be sure that dying would let me go back to my normal life it seems I'm stuck. I guess I'll just take the chance to explore the world for myself and test the magic system. If I created everything, maybe I can become the strongest.

This story will also be available on ScribbleHub and Reddit (r/HFY)

This is a book that was voted for in C. P. Tucks discord, so it's good to see it on here now. *Insert join discord plug here* I have read ahead a little bit, and this should not disappoint any previous readers so far. I plan on coming back to this review later to give it a more thorough one when the book is all finished up. Until then, I will just recommend that it should be given a try. Watching someone be forced to write themselves in their world that they have written and played DND in is interesting, especially because of how it ties into the system. Also because the readers wanted it a lot XD. But that is just part of it. There is more than twenty chapters waiting to be uploaded right now, so there is a ways to go.
Padding the word count to get to 100 can be a bit tricky when you have to avoid spoilers too. Especially when you do not know just how many more words are needed to post your review. Really wish there was an easy way to tell on mobile. Might make me more inclined to review. Might not though.

    Some thoughts.
First, the protagonist here doesn't seem like he's the author of this world that he's been transmigrated into. Now, admittedly, it's a very niche subgenre that I don't read much of, but it seems like he should be more cognizant of what's happening. Every 2-3 chapters, there's something that tickles the back of his mind, or that he just completely forgets before remembering, of some aspect of his worldbuilding. Often that's needed to move the plot forward, or make some scene more interesting, but it seems to break the fundamental promise of "I'm an author thrown into my own imaginary world." Really, he seems more like "I'm a reader who got thrown into a book I only read half of."
Second, through the 40 chapters of this completed story, there really isn't any abuse of magic. Or, if there is, it's subtle.  Admittedly, I haven't read any of the author's other works, but so far, it seems pretty straightforward.
Thirdly, I don't particular appreciate seeing the dice rolls. That works fine for when you're playing an RPG, but when you're reading a story, it seems weird. On the one hand, "I swung my sword at him, but he got a lucky parry and I was knocked offbalance" feels better than, "I swung my sword at him.  [Roll D20 = 12 + 3 = Parry Successful.]  But he got managed to parry me and I was knocked off-balance." I realize that this is more of a subgenre feature, but for anyone not expecting it, it can  make it seem like battles flow poorly.
Finally, the story ends exceptionally abruptly.  The conflict part of a very minor arc just ended and then... it ends. The last chapter is basically a short epilogue, but it was a remarkably unsatisfying end.
