    I read half way through this with an accent in my head. Then it was narrated by Jeff Bridges, in my head. Bridges has a way of making an accent sound... dignified. He takes his time with it. The pace would be just right. Understated for the comedic stuff.
    I also loved the translation of things from American to... terms the alien reader can understand. Liked the red-head. She seems like a bar-fight waiting to happen. Cletus, well, he will adapt, no matter where they end up drinking. Will I check out the train when they board it? Boy howdy!
