Description

Vivienne has poured so many hours into the massively popular VRMMO The Seven Cataclysms that she has more of a life inside the game than out. It's a fitting irony, then, when one day she wakes in the body of her maxed-out demon-mage 'Vivisari'—and finds that now, the game really is her life. But the world of Seven Cataclysms isn't what she remembers. A hundred years have passed since the game's concluding events, and Vivisari is a hero of myth thought long dead. As she meets old faces and new in this familiar-yet-not world—casting spells of mass destruction and slowly reforming the scattered-to-the-wind remnants of her Guild—she starts to wonder if she was sent here with a purpose. Rumors of a sequel had been circulating just before her unbelievable reincarnation. Did she, perhaps, need to fear an impending Eighth Cataclysm? If so, it's a good thing she has firepower in spades.

I love the flow of this. It has shades of Freiren without (so far) the deep melancholia that went with that tale. it is answering questions I always ask "what happened after?" "what came next?" As a fellow socially awkward person I'm enjoying following vivi finding her way in a not so new world.

Ps. Don't forget the eccentric personality and diminutive stature. Can't go wrong with that

I feel like a lot of stories that make it to the top of Rising Stars deserve a lot more pushback for the writing errors present in them. Thankfully, this isn't one.So, where to start? The concept of this story is pretty boring, actually. There's probably a thousand webnovels, light novels, and anime shows with functionally the same premise. Some person plays an MMO, but suddenly they're in the game world and have to survive. Even the part where the protagonist is max-level is pretty generic, relatively speaking. But despite that, the author makes up for it a hundred times over with their writing style. Everything flows really well, with no obvious grammar errors, and even the tone and style are smooth- moreso than a majority of other works on RR. The characters aren't wildly interesting at the moment, but they certainly have a lot potential, and the worldbuilding is both interesting and continually expanding, which is an added bit of effort that I appreciate. Above all, though, it's justfun, which is the absolute minimum for this kind of adventure-fantasy story with low initial stakes.Overall, I'm pretty impressed, especially considering that I was expecting fairly generic LitRPG power fantasy. I'm definitely excited to see where the author will take the story, and how they'll end up building the conflict from the point it's presently at.

This is a great read, even this early into its inception. It has an interesting power scaling system, the few bits of exposed lore is interesting, the MC is amusing yet interesting, good pacing for my tastes, good secondary characters, and interesting road blocks that remind me of "overlord" with how they are only road blocks until ainz gets there and vaporizes them.
Overall I love how this book is going, I hope you have the motivation and desire to continue this fascinating story. I hope you continue this in a direction you could be proud that.
Have a good year, stay safe, and surive this 'interesting' time.

I've been extremely entertained by the content of the story. A lot of power fantasies have trouble replacing the slow grind to power when the pinnacle has been reached but this one did a fantastic job of replacing that with whimsy. I subscribed and I can't wait to read more!

I'm a pretty avid reader. It's how almost all of my free time is taken up. I read stories, and am always looking for new ones. I have been browsing Royal Road for a few months now, but this is the first time I've felt the need to make an account, just to praise the author and this entire story. Conversations are fluid, and characters are predictable, BUT not in a bad way. They are defined and have their own characteristics that set them apart. Each character is unique, and well written enough that you can distinguish who is speaking most of the time just by how they say it, without explicitly saying who spoke. It makes for a very fun and engaging read, and I am HEAVILY looking forward to Book 2.

I have found this book to be a very promising story that I hope comes out on audio book soon, I have re read chapters multiple times and have found it a very humorous story that is also rather serious in how it portrays the characters and the world with the seriousness of someone writing a proper novel compared to a lot of other stories written on this site.

This is the first book I've read where the main character is Overpowered but not in a way that is surprising to themselves.  She knows she's OP and all her people know she's OP.  Poor people around her just have to figure out how to navigate around her without realizing how clueless she truly is about everything!  I love the story and how the Main character doesn't get hung up on herself and can still maybe have friends at some point? The only disappointment I have so far is I have caught up to everything that has been published and I only started reading it a few days ago :)  Thanks for the consistent chapter adds and I can't wait for the next shoe to drop.

Wonderfully written and engaging with characters I care about. It's also great to see the hints at the meta plot scattered through between the smaller encounters. There's also few enough numbers to not get overwhelmed while still maintaining the feel of an intricate worldbuilding system.
This is very well written and the tone is light enough that it doesn't feel like you have to wade through chapters. I didn't even notice the breaks, which says a lot for the quality of the writing. Will definitely be staying following this work.

The writing is high quality, and the premise was interesting enough that I started reading the story even though I usually wait for more chapters. I also don't usually go for stories where the character starts unbelievably strong, as they're not the kind of thing I'm interested in.Now I'm addicted, and there's no paid early access to the chapters, so I can't even fuel my addiction :(I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
