Stray Beast Master [GAMELIT ADVENTURE]

Description

In a world where the Classless can only hope to survive and Adventurers have all the power, Kaden Birch traded the chance to change his life in order to save another's. But when he's given the opportunity to start work in Beast Control, Kaden find more than he's ever hoped for. Friends, Skills, and the trail of a lost Class with the power to let Kaden make the new life he's been waiting for.

The only things standing in his way? Adventurers. Poisonous snakes. Cosmic Horrors from beyond this universe, and even worse, city bureaucracy. For a Classless man on a Quest to become a Beast Master, nothing is certain, except Taxes. Those are certain.

This book is a low arc progression fantasy with as much focus on building relationships as acquiring new skills and progressing in battle. It's a blend of slice of life and adventure and probably something else I don't know about. Will the MC be vastly powerful? Eventually. Is it soon? Not at all.

I'm going to be curt with this because I want to go back to reading this story.
Great read. MC is good, balanced between sadness of his life and desire to make it better, author manages to create attractive character you actually like to follow on his journey. Other characters seem like actual people and not just furniture.
Pace is interesting, I like the balance of fast-moving learning on-the-job environment juxtaposed against slow progression of MC's own powers.
World building is good, it's dangerous enough to push MC to get stronger but safe enough to sidestep completely overused worldsaving trope.
I like and recommend this book.

I can't sing the praises enough of this story. It's a vibrant world and we don't know hardly anything, but that's okay I'm figuring it out as our main character does. It's just fun, there's no other way to describe this. Yeah it can be serious at times, and the stakes are real but you'll wear a smile on your face happily.

very underrated fantastic story that I am having the*best* time binging. absolutely wlonkerful, so glad I happened upon it. I love the characters, (lightning dog best dog) and the fact that he was classless for so long. Him not receiving one was such a good move for his character that I feel bad for worrying that problem would resolve less naturally

This is an absolute gem! Great characters with realistic expectations and an intriguing system. I relive that even through there is an inventory aspect the author doesn’t forget about items or pull random objects out as plot armor. Extraordinary story! I cannot wait to read more. Please give this a go!

Picked this story back up, rereading all of the books on kindle unlimited.  It was even better the second time through!  The charcters feel like old friends at this point. I read a ton of books, this series stood out and was remembered. So happy to have more books to read here on RR.  Great series!

I have fallen in love with this story having binge read the first book, I whole heartedly recommend it to anyone who likes books with adorably deadly animals, and masters who actually care for them, treating them like family not a disposable weapon.
Cannot wait for more of Vip's adventures and Kaden's ofcourse.

I don't know all the technical stuff for writing a story.
If there were any spelling problems, it gets fixed and most don't stop you from reading.
There are few things that stand out to an average Joe like me in this story,
1_as the stories goes on, there are no repetition of same plot that we see in most long stories.
Whenever I see an update for the story, I'm like "yeah, today is a good day!"
2_it has wonderful style in writing and I don't mean the technical aspect, can't really
Explain it, but it is more of a personal thing than standards.
Like "this guy knows how to tell a story", he or she ...   Actually spend time on thinking what to write... that's what if it feels like to me. The story has the writer unique flavor ...

First 2 books were great.  New one is disconnected rubbish.  Not sure what happened with the author but he appears to have taken a sharp turn into some other story.  In short, very disappointing. The author had a good thing going for the first two books but this new one makes no sense and is frustrating to read.  Reminiscent of bad anime fight scenes, without background or storyline to help reader understand why they are fighting, just over the top gratuitous violence.  So, so bad.
