Style - I haven't read a story like this before. At first look, I thought it was a collection of short stories, However, on closer inspection, you see just how clever it is in the way it's structured. To be able to separate the story into the sub-headings while retaining a coherent and chronologically progressing narrative without deviation must have taken some real forethought. Formatting is clean. Writing is descriptive and detailed, and vocabulary is varied and high level. Only minor issue is length of paragraphs, which some RR users will be unforgiving about, but can be solved easily.
Story - A rich and very different kind of story that flows well. Don't expect to jump straight into the action. That said, the pace is not slow. The author purposely takes time to build tension as the mystery becomes apparent. It's clear that either a lot of research has been done, or the author has drawn on personal memories. The reference to the Great Storm was a nice touch for me as it's one of my earliest memories. The third chapter twist was a fun surprise and left me wanting more. Not sure how the story will be received on RR, but I hope it does well! Recommend rewriting blurb/summary as it doesn't relate much until chater 3.
    SPaG - High level throughout.
Character - We don't know much about the side characters owing to the nature of the mystery. However, the MC has a strong tone of voice and point of view. He's kind, considerate, and more importantly, observant. The characters fit the period in which the story takes place.

The way the paragraphs are structured makes it hard for me to follow the story. This could just be a me problem, I'm not exactly sure what others would think about it.
The details and descriptions are very well done, even if it did make me double-check to understand what was said. The characters are interesting and the plot slowly came together around chapter 3.
