Description
I'm dropping this novel. It performs poorly and is taking up too much of my time. It may or may not return in time.
In the aftermath of a cataclysmic event that abruptly brought the world to an end, Apophis, an Ancient Dragon of unparalleled power, found himself among the fallen. Yet, unlike the countless others who succumbed to the sudden demise, Apophis clung to a glimmer of hope. In possession of a long-forgotten token bestowed by a bygone god, he holds the key to resurrection.
However, the token demands a slew of staggering prices that pushes him to the boundaries of magic, draconic might and science alike. As Apophis- no, Nemes-navigates themerged realities- a shattered world and its parallel-, he must grapple with shattered ancient powers and the echoes of a forgotten era, as well as the unfamiliar beings of an alternate reality. Moreover, he must grapple with his old self, Apophis, Gaia's Nemesis and the World's Destroyer.
Will he master this fusion of magic and science, using it to reclaim his place in a scarred reality,or will the price of resurrection prove too steep, unleashing consequences that ripple through time and space?
Going forward, chapters will be released on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. If a chapter does not release on a chapter release day, two will be uploaded on the next.

- One Way JusticeRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5Story: Fairly captivating tale that blend sci-fi with fantasy. The ancient dragon must come to terms with his fall and rebirth, and the dynamics of the plot make this a compelling start to a story (love the reason for the fall: a second moon appearing around his planet is an original way of starting the story). The pacing is good so far, and world building as well... keen to see how it develops further.
Character: Apophis/Nemes has to shift from being super powerful to having no power at all, and the character changes that brings with it are interesting and quite believable. The human characters are not very fleshed out yet, but maybe that is yet to come, because the focus has of course been on the mc and the emotional/physical impact of the rebirth.
Style: Descriptive style with pretty good prose in some parts. At times a bit bordering on exposition but not overly so (does not hamper reader enjoyment really). Still, the images the author paints are often evocative, so a fun read overall.
Grammar: Good use of vocabulary. Fairly solid flow to the narrative. Punctuation is not always as good as it should be. But this does not detract from the clarity of the story.
