A young communications officer of the Socialist Republican Union is deployed to a frozen tundra for what she believes to be a righteous war of liberation. How much of that is true, how much of that is propaganda? Those are things for her to discover on her own, in a military claiming to be the representative of an international movement, in a modernizing world.
