Description
We’ve all heard tales of heroes summoned to save distant worlds. But how do such stories end? For the Student Council President (and reformed delinquent) Arisa Ishii, that ending seemed assured. After a long adventure, she had reached the final chapter of her journey in the otherworld of Nisha. Or so she thought – for time itself fractured when she killed the Demon Lord. Sent back to the day after she was summoned, one year ago, with the full might, magic, and hard-earned wisdom of a veteran Healer Hero, Arisa finds herself once more at the beginning of her adventure. This time, she has a new mission – to right past wrongs and protect everyone she holds dear. Especially her loyal Paladin, Anna Silverlight. Yet, as the tides of destiny shift, the world itself begins to push back. Determined, more than ever, to thwart her attempt to rewrite destiny. STORY-RELATED ARTWORK: Arisa Ishii(as of Chapter 38!) Anna Silverlight Cover art byValentina Govedarica WHAT TO EXPECT: - Strong, overpowered MC - First-person POV - Yuri and Girls Love (nothing too explicit, though!) - Healer doing Healer things!

- ÆiosRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0A pretty comfy story about a healer and her paladin. Nothing groundbreaking, but still very good and enjoyable. There is an overarching plot and distant threat in the form of the evil big bad guy, but at the moment he's sparsely present, so the focus is on our hero and her partner, forming up their bonds again and learning magic. Recommend.
- AustenKeatsRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This book is a very entertaining and readable time-loop story centering on two characters with a complex and developing relationship. The worldbuilding is excellent and was my favorite part overall of the story. The relationship between the two characters are what drives the story, and their interactions with other characters serve to both deepen the worldbuilding while simultaneously revealing more and more about the dynamic between the two primary characters.
Style: The style is comfortable, the narrative is well-paced, and it helps to bring out the characters' personalities while also providing ongoing revelations about the world they live in. The author is clearly a talented writer, and their skill is most apparent in the style of the story.
Grammar: I found no issues here.
Story: The story is highly entertaining, well thought out, and advances at just the right pacing to keep the reader intrigued about what comes next, and about where the story arcs are heading.
Characters: The two primary characters have an endearing relationship, and each of them is very likable and relatable. There is a clear distinction in the voice of different characters, and the interaction of characters is a significant part of what contributes to the enjoyable nature of the story.
Overall, this is a great story set in a fascinating fantasy world with excellently drawn characters. If you enjoy fantasy and time-loop stories with intricate and fascinating worldbuilding, then you are certain to enjoy this story. Highly recommended. - BielnaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This is a fun story that is, more than anything, carried by the relationship between the main characters. Not in the sense of romance ; there is a lot of that too, of course, but it's not the sole or main driver of the story. What carries it is how the interaction, the differences, strengths and weaknesses, and attachment between them drive the way they chose to walk a known path.
Arisa has gone back in time. She knows the future. And because of that, the stakes change. The question is not whether she will reach her Prophetized ending, but how she can fix the mistakes she made getting there, the deaths she couldn't prevent. Anna, meanwhile, carries the burden of knowing the way she is sworn to protect has regrets, to support someone whose circumstance she does not know fully, and her defining traits are her courage and hope as she faces the unknown. Of the two, it's Anna who has the fewest doubts, even though Arisa is the one who knows the future, leading to a great dynamic of both of them pulling the pair forward.
At the same time, it's not a fully introspective story, either. Even though the outline of the events is the same, the demons have changed ; so have the other significant characters of the story, who have taken a different path. Because of that, there is a constant mystery, leading the reader to wonder why things have changed and when a sudden shift might alter the path or even the mindset of Arisa and Anna.
Style-wise, the story is surprisingly unique. It is told from a first-person perspective of Arisa, and both her knowledge and doubts about the third life she's living, and her original personality as a delinquent shine through, giving a relaxed and casual, occasionally also funny or silly narration. It might take a few chapters to get used to it, but I quickly ended up appreciating how the style makes it clear that Arisa is our window into that world.
The dialogues between Arisa and Anna tend to be quite a bit mushy. Personally, I love it, because I f - Cutie_OniRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Now where do I start...oh right!First of all, when it comes to time loops as a concept for stories, I love it! Being a fan of series like Re:Zero (which may have inspired this story based on the title? I know my story was definitely inspired by it since I wrote it!) and also other series like Blazblue. When done right, they can offer much help in emotional scenes that would make the reader feel what the characters feel, and I can say that the first two chapters did that for me!And before I move on the gush over the cutesy interaction between the main character and her love interest, on a technicality standpoint this story is pretty darn solid! The use of first person here is quite well-done, different from the other first person pov stories I've read here and on other platforms. It really does make you understand the main character's mentality too and is a creative way to do some exposition dumps under the pretext that the MC would know this because of her circumstance!Anyways, back to gushing over the love. Where do I start? It's very cute and sweet, with a hint of tragedy underneath. While the story so far as I've read it is quite standard, the most interesting part of it being the time loop at the beginning and the demon lord chapter, the interaction between these two main girls makes it all the more worthwhile. I love their dynamic, I just wish that things could end well for them (don't disappoint me on that author!)All in all, this is a great story, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
- longwindedone1Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0This review of "RE: Healer" comes after reading the first seven chapters. I apologize for the likely spoilers.
Story:
What the author does here is hard to do. The story is well crafted, doing a Groundhog Day (sort of) in a litrpg environment. The relationship between the MC, Arisa, and her paladin, Anna, is the emotional core of the story. As the story rolls on, Arisa wrestles with her memories and the desire to protect Anna (this time around).
Style:
This is told from the first-person perspective from Arisa's point of view. Because of that, she uses contemporary language, giving it a familiar feeling in this crazy genre that I love. The story is definitely somber at times, as there are some pretty high stakes, but it is also light hearted, mostly driven by Arisa's witty response to her surroundings.
Grammar:
There are no grammatical issues that I could find, however, I consume my RR content using the audio capabilities of the app. The writing sounded good to me and I was never taken out of the story.
Characters:
The characters are well-developed (especially Arisa and Anna). Their relationship is the heart of the story. Lady Iris also stands out as a mentor figure. The only other character is the Demon Lord.
Overall, "RE: Healer" is a really fun story that tells a fresh tale. It's impressive, from an author's standpoint, and enjoyable from a reader's standpoint. Enjoy! 5/5 - m.a.cRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This novel presents an enthralling combination of fantasy, magic, and profound character development. At its heart, it narrates the journey of two nuns-in-training, Anna and Arisa, whose friendship and personal growth serve as the emotional foundation of a richly layered world brimming with divine forces and enigmas. The author skillfully navigates the balance between high-stakes, intricate moments and quieter, introspective scenes that delve into the nature of personal relationships.
The dynamic between Anna and Arisa feels authentic, infusing warmth into a narrative that also explores themes of prophecy, temporal mysteries, and magical trials. Arisa's experience, shaped by her return from an alternate timeline, adds a compelling layer of intrigue that captivates readers as they seek to uncover her destiny. The conflict between her predetermined path and her individual aspirations enriches her character, rendering her both relatable and engaging.
The world-building is richly immersive, encompassing divine artifacts and the intricate spellcraft that permeates the storyline. Each scene, whether action-packed or reflective, is imbued with significance and crafted with care. For enthusiasts of fantasy in search of a tale that intertwines emotional depth, magic, and a captivating exploration of fate, this novel is an exceptional selection that promises to hold your attention from start to finish. - vaBerryRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I want to start by saying that I am pretty new to the world of Izeka fiction, and I am finding it pretty entertaining. The author has made me appreciate it even more with their story, and I can't wait to finish the rest.
Story: The story is very intriguing, you have demons, gods, and the higher power all coming to a head in this unique world setup. You hit the ground running, observing the MC, Arisa, as she is thrown into a time loop and given a second opportunity to redo the future. So the main question becomes... will she be strong enough to change the events this time around? And you will stick around to find out.
Character: The author does a good job of having us walk hand in hand with Arisa. I love her take no shit attitude in the beginning and even how she handles herself after the time loop. I also love the dynamic between her and adorable Anna. It's beautiful to see Arisa re-cultivating her relationship with Anna, and it says a lot about her character and how she treats those she deems closest to her.
Grammar: I found a couple of misspellings, and there were some awkward sentences scattered throughout. Correct me if I am wrong, but it looks as though English is the author's second language, and if that is the case, they are doing wonderful! I can't write this well in my second language. Huge props.
Style: I'm not the biggest fan of flowery prose, and there was a lot of it in the beginning, some people will enjoy it, and others not so much. There were also some instances of repetitive phrases; one instance for me was the overuse of the word "demure." But! I really enjoyed the dialogue as the story progressed. It sucked you in and kept you along for the ride!
Overall, this story is refreshing and exciting, and you're rooting for the MC in her quest to succeed this time around! Great job, Author! - witchdoctormikeRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As a longtime Royalroad lurker, I’ve read my fair share of reincarnation and progression fantasy stories. I’ve seen the good, the bad, and the painfully average. That said, this story is easily one of the better ones I’ve come across. It’s right up there with RE: Dragon (and trust me, I’m a sucker for anything with dragons, so that’s saying a lot). The pacing is slower than what I’m used to, but that’s not a knock—especially considering I recently got hooked on The Wandering Inn. If I can enjoy a slow burn like that, I have no basis to complain here. In fact, the slower pacing works beautifully in this story, letting the author sink their teeth into the worldbuilding and character development without rushing things.
From what I've seen so far, the world is fascinating, full of unique elements that make it feel alive and textured. You can tell there’s a lot of thought behind every aspect of the setting. Plus, the book seems to be filled with badass women that can and will step on me and we all need more of that.
So that's awesome!
If you’re into well-crafted worlds, strong characters, and a mix of tension and power fantasy, you owe it to yourself to give this a read. It’s quickly becoming one of my favourites, and I can’t wait to see where it goes next! - ArdenoxRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Try out this story! As mentioned in the synopsis, it’s about a girl who travels back in time to get a second chance at life.
Story - It's a wholesome story with lots of sweet moments. I liked how she doesn’t keep secrets from her Paladin. It was constantly mentioned how important she was to her, and sharing even the deepest secrets only verifies that fact. I like the relationship she has going on here.
Style - It’s in present tense, not really my go-to writing style, but it was simple enough that I could understand what the author meant. The descriptions were done well enough, not difficult to imagine what the author wanted you to.
Characters - Each of the characters, at least ones mentioned up till where I read were believable and stood out in their own way. Each of them were given distinct personalities, setting them apart from their peers.
Grammar - Nothing that would break your reading flow.
Cons - Too much repetition of certain phrases. Second was the main character I guess? The former sometimes acted too much like a child for me to connect properly with the character.
Conclusion - Try it if you want to get away from the hustle bustle of the fighting and relax. The story pulls you into the world with its fast paced narration, not making you bored in the slightest. - R. C. VettaRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0This story is a demonic puzzle wrapped in a time enigma wrapped in a wholesome slice of life about two magical nuns being trained by a third magical nun
Okay okay that description is a slight exaggeration, but if you include Paladins and Healers in your definition of nun then it gives you an idea of what you are getting into.
Style- this author has the skills to do it all. They can write paragraphs of exquisite detail and there are chapters filled with excellent dialog that reads as a person would speak. Bravo 👏
Story- I am the first to admit I came for the demon puzzle wrapped in a time enigma, but I stayed for the wholesome story about two nuns becoming friends. If you want an Isekai with a new flavor and more character focused this is the one to do the deed. Makes you wonder if this isekai traveler is here to stay?
Grammar- After what appears to be multiple rounds of editing from the author per the comments. I saw no errors in my read.
Character- Only three characters so far, but it is a quality over quantity situation. Anna and Arisa are all you need to have an excellent time having a quiet read. Their dynamic comes off so genuine it is an effortless read.
If I had to make a criticism it would entirely be a point of preference. I would say there should be more of those exquisite description. Make Bno mistake they are already there I just want more of a good thing.
