The choice to make her take on the sun's duty when it was unavailable is wonderful. I also love a short and sweet story; this hits all the points!
- RznRoyal Road★★★ 3.0She Who Follows the Sun is a story that needs a bit more context to make sense of what is happening. The blurb itself should not be needed to understand the story, and to that I went in blind and found myself struggling to understand exactly what she was. The role and nature of her work is not clearly conveyed and the focus on the creature (also unnamed) makes this more vague than it could be. With a few changes and a little context I think this would be a much stronger piece.
