Shaman's Horizon

Centuries ago, Shaman's prospered in the land of Nak'tu: livestock flourished, population was rising, and the relationship with the god's was strong. Then, Warlock's from  foreign lands invaded and began pillaging the villages throughout the land; thus beginning the extermination of the Shaman's.

With rapidly dwindling numbers, the Shaman's retreated south to one location. Out of sheer desperation, they harnessed their god's powers to protect themselves through The Horizon: a barrier that would keep everything out and allow those foolish enough to leave and never return. The first generation to live within The Horizon swore to never speak of the horrors they saw beyond its barriers, as the Warlock's partook in dark and twisted practices best left unsaid.

Ezra and his younger brother Leif are among the third generation of Shaman's to live in The Horizon. Life within the barrier is a shell of the stories of prosperity told. With information kept secret by the first generation of Shaman's in The Horizon, the same question has troubled Ezra his whole life: What exactly is on the other side?
