What if reincarnation was real?  What if you could remember?Would that be a blessing... or a curse?

Nyx was born Hollow.  An empty vessel in a world of spirits.  Normally, that was a death sentence, yet somehow he survived.  He's always been stubborn like that.

He's also always been a bit crazy.  Which is why, in another life, he did something reckless. He sent himself a message -- his memories. Threw them into the Flow from which all spirits return.

Besides, Nyx believed in asking hard questions. Like, was reincarnation real? Would this half-ass plan actually work? And if it did, could his life really get any worse?

Turns out… it could.

What to expect:

A reincarnation story that isn't so easy.  Crazy MC.  Slow burn to OP.  System takes a minute to be introduced but it's worth it.  Loot-based skill modification system.  Infused spirit items.  Crafting.  Bromance.  Couple's therapy.  Murder Babies.  Interdimensional death wagon.

So this is an incredible story. It is dark as hell and just as hilarious. Really though it's how well done the world building is and how well made the characters are. 10/10 book of the month!  Does anyone else feel like 50 words is a too large requirement for a basic review?

Are you having trouble making new friends or maintaining the ones you already have? Are you raising children and they are not turning murdery enough or worse( knock on wood) are well adjusted extroverts? This is the therapy guide for you. Best on the market by far, will help the future battle daddies out there achieve success in their endeavors, such as mass murder or interior decorating.

Just ignore the negative reviews and let this novel take you on a spiritual and mental journey of self reflection, self depreciation and the most witty of settings.
Setting the jokes aside, this one of the most well thought out novels I have read on RR, the plot moves like smooth honey and there is a lot of juicy character development.
As I said this novel is journey and I wish it had more chapters

This story...wow, this story is just awesome.
The humor is refreshing, unique and you would be hard pressed to find another story that shares this same style or has the same energy.
One thing though, what's with the odd fascination the author has with feces? it seems like a reoccuring theme.
Overall, it's a great read, would strongly recommend.

I'm making this review because I love the book, definitely not because I got bullied into it by the author, nope. And I am definitely on team next. Anyways, I do really love the book, and the hilariously dark humor therein, I think the main character is great (warning, he is actually insane. Like, very very insane) So yeah. I thought I would put my 2 cents in. You should read it if you haven't already.

Let all praise be to the wordsmith. This story has many funny moments that got me to chuckle while even developing the characters and plot mort. The main character is presented as a slightly crazy unreliable narrator whose adaptability is only rivaled by how broken his mind seems to be.

I began to read this story because the other ones I follow on Royal Road are in a hiatus... well I wasn't disapointed! I love a good fantasy/magic story, especially if it's a little "different" (mostly comical and out of the beaten path).
The general idea of the story and the hero is good, a lot of little hints of things that might be coming later to keep you hooked, and a lot of action (often with not forseen resolution, at least to me)
The characters are also well thought of, and the writing really makes everything vivid, in short: I love it! (and can't wait to read the next chapter!)
English is not my mother tongue, so I wouldn't be an expert but I didn't saw any flaws in the writing (I often read books in English), it is simple to read, easily understandable for a foreigner like me, so no problem for me for this part!
Big thanks to the autor, keep up the good work, and please! please! please! put the next chapter online quickly!!!

Ok I feel like there is enough here to review. Story is great, love the insane MC, his decent into madness is completely understandable and oddly enough pretty enjoyable. Think of a "the making of joker" type insanity he's obviously mad but he makes it work. Love the side characters they are interesting and well fleshed out, nothing is flat or easy to predict it flows and it's not something you see often so it's hard to predict. The world building has been good so far, still a lot left to learn. Anything thats a complete mysteries for the MC will be unknown for the reader too when he is guessing something you'll be guessing it as well. That feels cool to me knowing the MC is growing along with the reader we are learning at the same pace. Grammer is solid, haven't come across anything that made me loose immersion in the story. Every chapter has been a decent length and the author releases on a consistent bases fingers crossed they don't burn out with the amount they are putting out at such quality. So yeah 10/10 so far truly a gem if you enjoy grim dark anti hero stuff. If that's not your cup of tea you'll probably hate the story so I'd advise anyone that prefers bright worlds with mcs that get everything handed to them to skip this one.

A good romp through a dungeon story with the twist being the mc is an actual madman. It was funny at parts , a bit grimdark but I enjoyed the way it was presented.  Murder babies. Never ever thought about what would happen with 5 years of emotional attachment from a lunatic. Oh and the mc's father figure/dungeon dive buddy/bromantic partner is a trash hoarding [sadist] so the emotional manipulation is delicious lol.
