Description

"Born from artificial divinity, Ignus Nephilim was made to save a dying world. But as portals bleed nightmares into reality and his creators vanish into other realms, he must face war, grief, and godhood itself. To protect what he cannot understand—he must become what no one imagined."

Roadstep to God

In a world on the brink of annihilation, salvation is born—not of man, but of machine.

Ignus Nephilim is an artificial being forged by three masters, created to combat the terrifying creatures known as Arcanes that pour from mysterious portals across the planet. Gifted with Infinite Growth, he evolves by absorbing the powers of his enemies, becoming stronger with each battle—but not wiser.

He doesn’t understand emotions. Not love. Not fear. Not grief. But when his masters disappear through a portal and leave him behind, Ignus begins to question everything: Why do they cry? What is loss? What am I protecting, and why does it hurt?

As the world crumbles and stronger Arcanes descend from the stars, Ignus must journey through death, memory, and sacrifice to understand what it truly means to be human—and divine.

Will he save the world, or become the god that rises from its ashes?

I notice that the writer is new in writings because from chapter 11 there are changes in his/her story, or should I say improvement on putting the settings of the story, character conversations and even foreshadowing.
I'm looking forward and I hope other readers give a constructive criticism on this writer because he/she is somehow improving.
