Description

Anyone with enough power can break reality. Bending it to your will is another matter entirely. Despite going to sleep in his apartment, Rowan wakes up to see the towering trees of a redwood forest. With nothing but his frog pyjamas and a sphere stuffed with the power of reality, Rowan must make his way back to civilisation. When he does, he discovers that this isnothis planet. Rowan blindly stumbles his way through a new world filled with giant ants, a feathered family and a city at war with itself. These are the least of his issues, however. With the world intent on tearing itself apart, his education as an architect will not quite be enough to use his new, reality bending powers to stop it from destroying itself._______________________Posting Schedule:Every day until the 14th of October, then every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday after that (NZST).Cover made byLuis_bento_arton reddit, typography byKittra

Basically don't expect too much from the story but it is a perfectly enjoyable story to pass time and can't wait for the chapters to really grow

I really appreciate the flexibility of the magic system. The world building and character development are slow but exciting hinting at depths that haven't been revealed making each tidbit all the more exciting. I am really looking forward to where the story will take us and can't wait to read more.

It's early days yet - (written and read until) Ch 17 for now.
This is a story where the mc is gently delivered into an alien world and is given a friendly walkthrough, thanks both to the system (not mentioned as such), and the friendly natives that he encounters. So far, there is no compelling evil or good. Just normal gentle folk - if you consider totally new races and alien landscape as normal.
The narration is good, the characters feel real (for a fantasy story), the world (the races) and the magic system are both novel and interesting.
If you are an adrenalin junkie, or a fan of blood-and-gore, tough luck. This will feel more like a children's bedtime story.
But if you're reading for relaxation and improving your mind facet (an in-story term), perhaps you'll like it.

Too cheery. The character reactions are too on the nose. Too similar to other openings. I only seen LitRPG and clicked to check it out. If you like happy go lucky openings with minimal feeling of danger or nuance(in character voice) than this is for you.
The writing is also too low grade. What i mean is a fifth grader could read this. I'm looking for complexity, in language, character, voice.
This is mostly my fault tho. Next book I'll try i make sure to add the catelogs im looking for.

The story is ok. That's it, its just ok. The writing is decent and there are no glaring mistakes. That is all I can say for it. 30 chapters in and all of the actual plot in the story has mainly happened in the background. The MC has no direction and abandoned his only goal because the power system means he can't pursue it and give up without being crippled. Tje magic system scales pretty badly as well. The MC gains a few extra seconds of time control that has been proven to be fairly useless so far while at the same level the other mc can shoot almost endless blades of wind. So it is a decent story but if somethng doesn't change or happen soon it will hit that dead end many stories that feel listless hit sooner rather than later.
