Anyone here to self-insert will quite literally hate this. The first of two deuteragonists, is quite frankly, a simpleton. They're dumb, lazy, and very smug.
Like Aqua, from Konosuba.
But that's also what makes it fun to read.
The story looks like it doesn't take itself seriously, but it's because we're viewing from the perspective of someone who, well... isn't the sharpest tool in the shed.
Outside of the idiot's influence, however, we can see things progressing properly, characters are truly distinct from each other, and most importantly, the author's experience shows.
Overall the story is solid, prose is fine, sentence structure and grammar is good, does not read like AI, and by virtue of having a simpleton for a main character, sets itself apart from a lot of other stories on this site.

I was loving the story until it hit me that this author has zero paragraphs in the entire story.
(that was hyperbolic, but seriously, starting in chapter 4 the chapter formatting and dialogue starts turning weird)
There is a return hit after every sentence. It draws out the dialogue and makes it seem stilted and makes all the characters sound the same. It’s very jarring and takes you out of the story. I feel like I would have to copy and paste every chapter into my notepad and fix all the formatting to make it readable, and ain’t nobody got time for that.
