    I figured I'd give this a fair chance despite the massive "writer approach to storytelling" red flag that is character creation. Could have still been handled in an interesting way after all.
    The premise of this story is that the protagonist was a nice, reasonable, highly skilled player who go murdered IRL by his GF because he was only helping her and the guild he founded earn a duckload of money and influence in stead of a metric duckload of money he could have been bringing in if he was an edgelord mc douche nuking everyone in his path in stead of forging alliances with defeated foes and engaging in diplomacy with other guilds.
    Mostly because he figured he doesn't want the earth to die because there wasn't enough guilds who knew how to fight monsters IRL from the game. (This IRL monsters thing gets and the billions in government funding gets mentioned and then sort of set aside in the beginning like it's not a massive big deal)
    She can just murder him and take all he owns because he gave people in his guild full access and passwords to everything he owns .
    The guild leaders are ok with this despite him literally leading them to victory.
    He gets a redo and swears to never trust anyone again, do solo leveling and never be anyone puppet again.
    Immediately gets puppeted by the in game system whims through forced quests and massive penalties unique to him.
    Example:
    Forced S rank quest to save someone who is destined to become a game plo relevant sacrifie or get a character wipe.
    Then a quest to undo the first quest under a threat of similar massive penalty because he succeeded. I'm sure he'll do something clever to get around it but it's just plain silly.
    IE the game forces him to massively change the story and also punishes him if he massively changes the story.
    Now sure I would honestly have cashed out, taken the character wipe and seen if picking a different perk seeing if it would stop
