Description
Just because she works for the Lord of the Dead, it doesn't mean she's a bad person.
The gods have returned to bless the people of Earth with a system of magic and power. The only catch is that you have to choose to worship them... forever. And that includes the afterlife. One god rules over this transition, and to serve this god, you literally control the eternal fate of every soul on the planet.
Bridgette Nelson has chosen to live her life without the blessings of the gods. It makes for a hard life, but it's nothing that working three full time jobs can't overcome. It's a price she is gladly willing to pay to avoid all the machinations of the gods.
Until the day she unwittingly becomes a Reaper and starts on a journey that will ultimately effect every soul on the planet... the pantheon of gods, too.

The story draws you in with a grand opening. Setting a grandiose atmosphere and preparing you for a mythical ride.
Then, I'm pulled into Bridges' life. An over-worked and incredibly relatable girl as she gets caught up in something she probably didn't need right now.
What's worse than working three jobs? A strict no tattoo policy, apparently.

If I don't get stuck on an error reading - is it even an error? In all seriousness--the prose is well crafted and without obvious error.

In all honesty, reading the story just made me feel good. It's easy reading for good reward.
