Description

This is a story about a 17-year-old girl named Rose, the daughter of two prominent Pokémon Coordinators who had passed away in a freak accident. Rose would soon move in with her grandmother, a woman who hated all Pokémon and forbade her granddaughter from interacting with them. Rose was five when all this happened, but when her grandmother wasn't looking or when she went away, Rose would look into Pokémon contests, watching them and studying them, and one day while she was heading to a private school in the neighboring town, Rose heeds the call of adventure.

The biggest problem with this is how choppy it is. Each sentence is separated and often doesn't lead well into the next one.
This is really tragic as the premise is interesting and particularly unique for a pokemon fanfic.
I would highly recommend reading the words out loud to better construct your writing as well as add a little bit more info, detail in the first two chapters.
To sum everything up, I think this could be a great fic if you are able to improve the grammar and the dialogue as well as improve cohesion and write more about the scenes in the prologue and first chapter; don't just tell me her parents died in an accident give it to me in a scene same with most of the information presented in the first two chapters
