Good book is very much alike to am Azarinth. Well written and thought out. Character and plot lines are interesting and quite enjoyable. MC is well proportioned and the perfect amount of murder hobo and caring mother. I can't wait to read more of this book and hope it goes on for quite a while.

13 chapters in and I'm sold. It is very much exactly as advertised in a satisfying way.
Can't wait to enjoy the rest of the story. So many options for development, from awakened earth memories, to the machinations of forgotten Titans. Wether it's about the world building or character development, I'm sure it will be great.

Protagonist is a great balance between nurturing and ass kicking, love the voice of the writer and I am super excited to see how this story develops! The party that is getting built seems like it will have a good development. Who is the avatar and who will play the songs of her victory?

I'm really enjoying the story so far. I like the concept of Monica's class/build and abilities, and the system set up and design is interesting. I am looking forward to where this story can go and I really hope it keeps this energy and quality moving forward. Cant wait for more! Great story!

    I loved the story.
Overall, it has a lot of similarities to Azarinth Healer. She can heal, she kicks ass by punching and kicking...
However, unlike Azarinth Healer, it sort of pulls you in from the start and makes you want to read more.  I like how competent she is from the very beginning.
The writing style was good too. No grammar corrections needed, as far as I can see.
Overall, great job. I look forward to more!

I really enjoyed this start of a novel (chapter 16 currently). I find Monroe endearing in how she has both a thirst for battle, a strong sense of justice, and motherly instinct. She is like a brave knight of old just by instinct, but with smarts. Ted is fun, and I can't wait to see what he becomes. It feels like the world loves him.
Story wise, I find that it dropped a lot of power ups at once. You can slow down! Monroe starts with a lot of skills, and gains equipment too fast. Make her struggle for it. Common stuff would be okay but she already has
a divine item? And a changing armor?!
Worldbuilding, hmm I like the azarinth system so it is nice to see a similar one here. do continue to have characters question stats distribution, it's interesting. The pantheons are VERY nice, would love to see more about the relations between gods and followers. Healer god was less impressive than expected though, they can be more, scheming.
    Go on with your writing!

I have read authors' previous work when it was practically unreadable. So, on the grammar end, Phoenix Healer is a significant improvement.
However, the story has just begun, and we already have plotholes.
How did MC resurrect 3 times without anyone stopping her?
The first time, understandable; the second time, how in the world did they miss only a body in a pile of ashes that wasn't there before?
The third time, they even pointed out that she supposedly was headless, but now she isn't. Not once did anyone think ¨huh, wasn't she killed already¨.
Now, about the characters, I cannot say much due to the lack of chapters, which can lead to many changes in them, but as of now there are only 2 which I would say are important, maybe 3, it depends. One of them is a cliche "bro", other one is religious crusader, and MC that is just moved more by quests rather anything else.
Now, about the MC. Her power feels undeserving, gifted for no reason, and then showered by the system with boons and loot. It could be argued that the system specifically does this with a goal, but still, it's not a great read when the MC, instead of having a hardship, just gets plot-armored to win.
Review can and probably will change with time.

"Phoenix Healer" by Maeve McCarthy delivers a thrilling, action-packed story with a protagonist who's as fierce as she is capable. Monica, armed with resurrection abilities and legendary powers, dives headfirst into a world filled with cults, ancient ruins, and meddling gods. Unlike traditional healers, she’s no soft touch—her combat skills are as sharp as her flames are destructive.
If you love the vast world-building of Azarinth Healer or He Who Fights with Monsters, this book brings a similar epic scope but with a darker edge. The story prioritizes adventure and growth over unnecessary drama, with a clear focus on leveling up, massive battles, and exploring breathtaking, long-forgotten places. Monica’s blend of restoration and ruin makes for a refreshing twist on the healer archetype, keeping readers hooked from start to finish.
Highly recommended for fans of strong, battle-ready protagonists and expansive worlds!

This story truly captured my imagination with its vivid descriptions. The author's skill in painting a scene is evident throughout. The action sequences were particularly thrilling and well-executed. I found myself completely engrossed in the narrative. It's a story I would happily recommend to others.
I can't wait to read next story in this series.

The story starts with a sudden awakening, bringing mysterie ihto the story right from the start. The fights are not too easy, exactly right in pacing and descriptions.
Characters are starting to flesh out, we have backstory on most of the main cast, with the MC deliberatly having none, but still showing personality traits.
I only see a little problem, and that is the main point of the story. The MC is immortal. No battle will be with risks, because even if she dies, she can just try again. The story circumvents that with giving the MC companions, which works pretty well. I could also see it going in a more mysterie focused series, with the MCs power being just a minor point, but as the story is described as "like Azarinth healer" it doesn't seem very likely.
At the moment the story is going in a very good direction. Altough, if the story wants to have an impact on its own, it should lose the like Azarinth healer tag. If it persitst in later parts of the story, it will always be like: but Azarinth healer did this and that differently.
