Petrova's Rifles

A generation has passed since Mars won its independence and thrown off the Earther yoke, and not all is well on the half-finish Eden. The Imperial System which unified the dissonant Martian states has finally collapsed, igniting a series of conflicts as the nations and factions within nations vie for position and power.

Part 1: For the Rifleman and other assorted Soldiers of 2nd Platoon, G Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Tharsis Rifle Regiment, what matters is accomplishing their mission and making it through the battle of Greendome alive. Their commander, Rifle Lieutenant Lyssa O. Petrova has been charged with occupying a dilapidated government building along an important road. She intends to hold her ground, even in the face of the Rift Republic and Noachian Army's most determined assaults.

Part 2: Though the conflict of arms has ended in Greendome, the battle still rages in the minds of those who lived it. The members of 2nd Platoon anxiously await their turn to rotate home and return to friendly ground. They count the days while the wind whispers that the forces on the move in the World have yet to come to rest. The legacy and future of Mars rests in the hands of those bold enough to seize it.

Part 3: Petrova struggles with the loss of her command and to return to some modicum of normalcy while another war, already raging in a distant land, looms on the horizon.
