So, this is a short-story.
I am not a very philosophically inclined person, so I haven't noticed anything between the lines in this tale (if there is), but it is very well written. The grammar is borderline perfect, and written with simple words in english.
This short story, to my eyes, kind of gives of an English class assignment vibe, where the story is short and conveys a message.
I love the fact that the woman wasn't happy at all with the unearned material objects she got. Since she had received the stuff through basically no effort on her part, and just simply achieved her dreams by signing a contract with the (devil?) hound.
It's great how you managed to convey the act of being "invisible".

It doesn't break any new ground, but it is a well written horror story about the dangers getting what you wish for. It is really short, but it does mostly keep itself on point and the ending does get a little vague and it feels open to interpretation what ultimately happened to Penny.
