ABOUT THE STORY

Title: Ruinborn (Feathers of Ignis)

Tagline: The Boy Whose Heart, Brought Weakness to Evil

In a forgotten town shrouded in superstition, whispers of curses and unnatural forces haunt the streets. At the center of these rumors is Emil, a boy who shouldn’t exist—not because of his appearance, but because of the strange effect he has on those around him.

Criminals unravel into madness. Liars choke on their own deceit. The town’s  cruelest woman suddenly finds herself knitting sweaters for stray dogs. Emil’s presence disrupts the very nature of wickedness, bending it toward kindness, or destroying it completely.

No one understands why—least of all Father Marlo, the town’s corrupt priest, who is the first to notice Emil’s unsettling gift. As suspicion grows, the town begins to turn on Emil, questioning whether his existence is a blessing or a curse. But as dark forces stir beneath the surface, one thing becomes clear: evil cannot survive in his presence.

A horror drama with a mysteriously amusing tone, The Boy Whose Heart Brought Weakness to Evil explores the battle between darkness and innocence, where one child’s existence challenges the very nature of sin itself.
