Taereun: Battleground of the Damnedwas never really a game. It was an experiment created by The Nameless God to find Minds and Souls he could use as his tools. For tens of thousands of players, what we thought was a game became reality. We were trapped in the bodies of our characters and given a quest by The Nameless God. If we succeeded, we would be returned to our real bodies. After fighting through the Lands of Despair in the Labyrinth of Yggr for over eleven years, we had one last battle to succeed in our quest. When the battle was almost over, I was murdered by a group of the other players. After believing I was dead, I woke up in a hospital in my original body. It was the last place I wanted to be. I was the only survivor of The Nameless God's test. Everyone else died. I am a freak, a hideous monster in they eyes of most people. My body rejects most medical treatments. As a child, I was in an automobile accident, which left me scarred and disfigured. After I was hijacked, the closest he had ever come to being happy was living as Talon, during the search for Haven.Having learned about the Power called Ki, I discover that my human body is capable of channeling and using it. Once again armed with Power, I look for a way to travel from Earth to Taereun. I have questions I want answered and people I owe.
