    Great story with fun humor. This story seems like a satire piece of a  wizard isekai. I love the village and it's quirky inhabitants.  Reminds me of the small village I grew up near in the rural U.S.A.
    I hope the writer continues to write this and keep it exactly like it is. This is a damn great story holes, inconsistency,  quirks and all. I thought he put them there on purpose. I am sure the writer will say so going forward.
    May rotting camel fly larva infest the bowels of the haters and bless their little tiny hearts.

    The dry humor and amazing use of personification and metaphor is better that anything I have read in years. Yes, the shear quantity of very short sentences can make it feel active at times, but come on folks, can't you tell that is intentional. I have fiddled with having AI write things, and while it can be helpful in phrasing and brainstorming, it didn't write this.Those who have been giving bad ratings should probably read it first. The characters are dry but hilarious. I can picture them performed as live action characters in a movie. It works be hilarious.I would like to have some things explained better, but that is kind of the point of a serial publication. You just have to wait until the author gets around to it.As for the story, it isn't meant to be LOTR.     Enjoy it quite a bit. I normally prefer a little more action but this story definitely does apply the term "cozy" quite well. I look forward to more and actually quite like the small extra, humorous descriptions of the mundane. Well done. I have high hopes for some more development in relationships and world building but I am along for the ride regardless.

    I like mage story a lot, much so if the mc is a pure mage and not the bs that almost every mage novel has that force a mage to go hybrid using a sword, etc. The chapters are very long and very inmersive that is very good. the side character feel alive each one with their perks and fixections and is funny to see their interaction and cant wait to see what will they do in the future if "normal" peoples come to this unique town where the brooms pull left and the blue box is winning. the mc has a very odd personality but still don't know his backstory. Is a slow burn but is ok bc like I said earlier the chapters are very long and the realese schedule is ok. and ai-asist content who care the only important is the final product and is very good

    Story has plot - it’s slow but there (think Frieren). I really like it, and I’ve actually read it (unlike many ppl who are spamming bad reviews). I’d recommend you give it a go and see if you like it yourself. The best part of the story imo is the character development. They are at the same time so extremely transparent but have hidden layers that they themselves don’t realize. I think that sets it apart from so many other stories. In a story like Path of Transcendence, you know the actions the character will generally take and its external influences that make the story exciting. Instead of that, this story finds nuance in the monotony of life and makes you excited when the character is excited as well.
    For those wondering a bit more about the style, it definitely falls into soft world building. That is to say, magic isn’t the core of the story, instead it’s more around a person being moral yet not wanting fame. In fact, the desire for a  simple life is such a major plot point that it’s almost unnatural (at least to me) and that is another aspect of that makes it interesting. It’s because I can’t directly relate that I don’t know what’s the character is always going to do. That may even be the point (can’t speak for the author) but having a ‘normal’ perspective allows you to find humor in the extremes represented by both kinds of characters introduced so far in the story.
    All that to say, would recommend, even if you just wanna rread the first chapters and decide it’s not for you. No need to be absolutist! Everyone has their preferences.

    Okay so I don't think any of the chapters so far haven't made me laugh so hard I cried. If you enjoy British humor and blatant jabs at the underpinning bureaucracy of the universe then this is definitely your story. I will say the exposition every other chapter can be a bit excessive and I dont think we have really hit the overpowered feeling the title implies yet but, it's only chapter 16 and it seems to be ramping up.
