With only the help of sarcastic old guide and his iron will, he has to find a way through this dungeon world.Enemies are everywhere: manipulative adversaries with world-breaking magic, and a System that measures victory in Tasks completed. • This story pulled me in right away. I enjoyed how it balances the tough, military mindset of Riven with funny moments. The sibling banter with Alice feels natural, and the fact that the baby got dragged into this new world makes the stakes higher than usual…

This story pulled me in right away. I enjoyed how it balances the tough, military mindset of Riven with funny moments. The sibling banter with Alice feels natural, and the fact that the baby got dragged into this new world makes the stakes higher than usual for a LitRPG. The fights are exciting without being confusing, and the pacing keeps building up in a good way. I would like to keep reading to see what happens next.

I am a former soldier myself and this MC’s attitude is spot on. Love that the characters feel real and grounded. I cannot wait to see Carson get his butt whipped. Big fan. Keep it up J.D. i cant wait to see what you will do next. I also like that the pages are not blanketed with stats. I dont mind it but i prefer not to read system messages. Overall 👏🏾

Its always enjoyable to see author who use a smart, mature, and realistic characters like the people who we know around us. This story has it. Not like other fantasy novel who somehow think its good to use vanilla and immature character as their MC.The fight, the assessments, the solutions that Riven do in this story is realistic, totally love it.

Oh. My. Gosh. This book was such a fun ride! From the very first chapter, I was totally hooked—I couldn’t put it down even if I wanted to. The worldbuilding was just chef’s kiss—magical forests, epic dungeons, and those adorable little companion creatures that I seriously wish were real.
The main character? Loved them. They’re strong and clever, but also have these super relatable moments where they’re like, “What am I even doing?!” and it made me root for them even harder. Plus, the party dynamics were EVERYTHING. The banter had me giggling out loud, and the friendships felt so genuine it almost made me tear up at a couple points.
What really stood out was how perfectly the game mechanics were woven into the story—it felt like I was inside the game, leveling up, unlocking cool powers, and taking down bosses right alongside the MC. And the pacing? Spot. On. Never a dull moment, but not overwhelming either.
If you love LitRPGs with heart, humor, and just a little bit of sass, you NEED to read this author’s work. Trust me, you’ll be obsessed. I am so excited to see the next chapters, and follow this publication.

I greatly enjoyed this book and will continue to read, a friend of mine sent this to me and the author is a mutual friend so I am a little biased. But I am proud of him for doing something he talked about doing for years.  Keep it up bro

I really enjoyed reading this book and I typically don't read books online. I usually read books in hard copy, and it's very interesting to read a book as it's being created. I have been following the last five chapters and have really enjoying the storyline. I'm not familiar with this author but he has talent. I'm very surprised that the characters are so funny. For a book that has a lot of action I enjoy the small jokes that the characters make with each other. It's a very sad story in the beginning, but I've enjoyed watching it blossom. It's not really the type of genre that I listen to or read on a daily basis but I have took the time to read this one. I'm not sure what the author has in store for the next chapters but I really enjoy following along to see where the story goes. I really hope this story would be on an audiobook so I could listen to it instead of reading it.  this author has so much potential and I can't wait to see what he does in the future. If you haven't took a chance to read this book I hope you do because it's worth the time.

definitely worth a read, take some time and read this book you can tell the author really worked hard on it and put his passion into the project. Fantasy elements almost feels like you’re in the world of the book. Feels like you’re reading a video game or something along those lines!
