Hello dear readers,
As the author ofDragon Road: How I Rise in My New Life, there was a time where I didn't have access to my drafts for DR, so I decided to make this little 'oneshot' or short story based on my next work.
You won't be able to tell mostly from the oneshot alone, but it's inspired by Underworld, Hellboy, Guyver, and Bloody Roar, so I'm really excited on how it's going to turn out!
Please let me know how you feel about it or if there are any pointers you'd like to give. If it gets popular, I might decide to make a full novel of it alongside DR, otherwise I'll work on it after I'm done with my current novel. Enjoy!

- RznRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0The short story dark and predictably so begins with a show of one predator preying on another. The blurb seems to suggest that some of the events here are supposed to be 'dark humor', but the beginning warped the rest of the piece because of how over-the-top it was. The contrast between the beginning and the end makes sense and was rather predictable. It is short enough that if you like dark vampire stories that it gives you a taste of the setting, but at the same time you already know there is nothing more beyond this one shot. Why waste words on needless worldbuilding? It was enough to be distracting, but overall, the writing was very good.
