On the Run

Vulen parents were weird. His mother, before she passed, was a huge Tolkien fan. Dressing up as Elves, speaking of weird-like much like Fae. She even got her face tweak to look like an Elf. Not a big deal really; Not in a world where genetics could be alter with a simple visit to the doctor.

The weird thing is, these government nutjobs are saying she some kind of Alien. An actual Elf from some foreign world. Could be true given she did pass down a touch of magic to him but come on, now. A real life elf?

Shouldn't they be more worried about rounding up magical creatures? Someone somewhere should start a rebelling, right? Or at least do something to buy him freedom to escape these nutjobs and live an average life, right? Not to much to ask for?
