Ethan's agamer.

"...What?Give me that script.""Eth-hey-no! Sto-""AH-he-hem..."

Ethan's spent his whole life disillusioned with the world around him. Finding his solace in digital worlds. Some masterful, others... not so much, he very quickly came to learn what he enjoyed.Breaking his way through game after game, exploring old and abandoned worlds and nostalgia baits alike, he found himself happy in his own little world. Not everybody would agree with him, not many would want to live in the way he's found himself moving along, but to him? It didn't matter. He was having a great time.He does what he does, and has a damn good time doing it.But... one can only do the same thing for so long. Change is inevitable after all! So when Ethan finds himself completing yet another game whole, with some poking, prodding, and a bit of good will... he gives something new a chance.Whether it'll be even close to what he was expecting however, is up to him to find out! What to expect• Currently sporadic uploads.• 1.5k-2k long chapters on average.• High spirited high energy MC. Lots of inner monologue.

• Progression focused MC. Not necessarily ever weak to strong, just constantly growing.

• Actually balancing the game world and inhabitants make proper use of the abilities they have. And lastly... A monster tamer MC, wherein they don't magically become God of the new world and obliterate everything without any help from their summons. Because we all love it when the MC makes everybody else look completely worthless and incompetent while annihilating everything all on their own. Great time I'm sure you're all aware.

i should preface that i’m not the audience for stories like these as i’m not much of a gamer. but i thoroughly enjoyed ‘Omniscient [Monster tamer LitRPG]’.
    style:
written in 1st person present tense, the story stands out with its very strong character voice. our mc, ethan, has an inner monologue that is lighthearted and often humorous; with quick quips and sudden thoughts shifting that mimic the natural flow of someone’s mind, it’s genuine and very funny. and while 1st person present tense can be difficult to write, the author has executed it well, using it to its fullest potential which was a joy to read.
however, the stylised repetition of letters (e.g. ‘Buuuuuuut’) may take some time to get used to, despite being a stylistic choice to develop the tongue-in-cheek tone of the story. and while these elements contribute to the causal and playful narrative voice, it might be a little distracting to some readers, particularly those who may use text-to-speech to enjoy stories, so just have a little heads up. i should mention though that it wasn’t too much of an issue for me personally.
and while the narrative voice was excellent, i do wish there was a little more done with regards to description in the earlier chapters, as they tended to lean on ethan’s inner monologue over visual details of the world around him. although, this does improve as the novel progresses, especially as ethan enters the game world that the story is centred around. but in contrast, the combat scenes were vividly described and easy to follow, highlighting the author’s talent for writing action.
    story:
the plot takes some time to introduce the titular game to focus on establishing ethan’s personality and motivations. while a slower pace may not appeal to everyone, it effectively sets a strong foundation for the story, setting ethan as an achievement hunter who now aims to do something different when a new game drops, craving a new challenge to change things up in his monotonous life.

Reading this story reminded me how much I love cats, and now here I am, on my way to the local animal shelter to get one. God, I hope they have a Lynx too...
Well, back to why we're here in the first place!
Grammar: Is great, with very few typos. There's heavy use of slang, but this is something I'd associate with...
Style: This was a bit tricky for me to rate. The author uses more "modern" English with lots of slang. It fits the tone of the story well, and many readers will likely enjoy it or find it refreshing, but it wasn't exactly my cup of tea at first - it took me a bit of time to get used to. Once I did, I could really enjoy the...
Story: Is intriguing and clearly building toward something once MC enters the new game. The first few chapters feel like some sort of prologue, serving to introduce us to the MC and give us a sense of his personality (like the games he plays, how good he is at them, and his overall vibe). It also leaves plenty of questions about the broader world the story takes place in, and how it perhaps affected its...
Character: Ethan is an awesome character. He's high spirited, funny, and capable no matter what game he plays. Beneath his positive exterior, there seems to be depth waiting to be explored, which makes him all the more interesting. That said, Jasper (an actual giant cat) still steals the show :D
Overall, a great and very fun read. I'd definitely recommend it!

This story has been so much fun.
Ethan is a min-maxing, platinum achievement hunter, with bad social skills and I love him.
It's been a while since I've felt so clearly in the mind-space of a first person character. We see everything he does, tangents, looped thoughts, distractions all of it. The writing style is distinctive and I can very clearly hear his voice in my head when he talks. Which is a very rare skill.
Honestly I wanna wrap the little asshole(affectionate) up in a big cape and watch him evil laugh about his numbers going up. I can't wait to watch him stumble his way into the main plot by accident (as I can't see him doing this any other way) as he hunts down something completely stupid for his frail min-maxing ass.

Now, I start this with saying I am not the usual audience for this sort of thing! I'm not a gamer by any means but I am somewhat familiar with some things.
That said, this was a good work of 1st person POV. First POV is something that I feel is more difficult to do but the author manages to really bring it to its fullest.
The character Ethan has a strong sense of voice and he keeps it light and playful which I enjoyed. The fight scenes were fun to read and have a good flow to them. That said I do think that it would be good to see things that Ethan struggles with somewhere in these first few chapters. So far he just seems to be good at everything and a good chara shows us their faults as well, it keeps them interesting.
I found myself at times needing to stop and look up a lingo-word as I am not familiar with some of them but I think to someone who knows this culture before that won't be a problem and would actual add great seasoning to the reading.
My only con-crits are these: just that it takes a while for me to see where the story if going. I read up to chapter 10 and was just starting to see direction but as long as you're in for the fun of it then you'll enjoy this. Second is just that we gloss over the real world bits which seem like they are at least somewhat interesting, what with robots and what not! I'd love to know a little more about that, even if it's just showing me what exactly is so dreadfully boring about it!
As far as grammar goes, I do think there are some issues here and there but overall it reads very well. I know that the story is stream of consciousness but try to avoid theeeeeeeese kinds of elongations of your words. I think perhaps there are other ways to show emphasis. Not to say that you must get rid of them, this is just my take on it. I can see how they add flavor to your character.

This started as a review swap, but the story was so good that I HAD to continue reading! Very good intergration of 1st person, interesting well fluid plot and wonderful battle scenes. This is the sort of literature I was looking for. It is also excecuted very well, with minimal flaws.
style - Very enjoyable writing style, easy to follow along as well as a solid system foundation. The pop-up notifications (something I dont see often in litrpgs) mixes with the internal monologue, making it very readable. A VR story is also a nice set back from isekai average joes
story - The concept of 'achivement hunting' might seem like a lukewarm plot foundation, but I see it working very well in the long run, and it never loses velocity or potential. Not only that, but the dialogue and battle scenes are nice and steady, doing its thing - either getting a chuckle out of me or making mw stand on my heels.
grammar -  self explanatory, easy to follow along
Character- Good characters, each with their own unique traits and personalities. Although some of their goals are partially unclear (including Ethan/Koth), Theres still so much room for character development.

(This is part of a review swap)
Overall this is a fantastic representation of its genres!
The story follows a main character who is a gamer through and through. He comes off as a bit of a completion-ist at first, even a bit of a try hard at times, but you don't get to the top of multiple games without putting in the effort.
The main character's motivation for his rampant gaming appears to be his dissatisfaction with his everyday life and being that he has access to highly sophisticated Virtual Reality games he simply prefers to spend his time there where he is highly competent.
The story is a bit of a slow burn with him not reaching the titular game until chapter seven and eight. For some reason, which I may have missed, the main character has a change of heart in his approach to the new game.
Instead of min/maxing and achievement hunting our guy takes a more gentle approach to the game of Omniscient. Consequently, it is that approach that creates a beautiful narrative for the reader as the main character takes his time to explore the world and the various things within.
I would call this a contemporary fiction with its use of language and style. It is that quality that I think would make this very accessible to a Shonen audience.
The grammatical choices are consistent which allows for the story to flow once you have a grip on the style.
Once the main character enters the new game this turned into a story I could see myself reading before bed or when I am looking for a nice relaxing fiction to unwind.
If you like an easy to dive in and get lost in the minutiae of a progression story than I highly recommend you give this a read!

Alright, let's break this down. The story starts with a pretty unique angle - an achievement hunter who's actually completed everything in his current game and decides to try something new. The style is consistent and flows well, keeping a first-person perspective throughout while maintaining good chronology.
The character of Koth is well-defined through his actions and thought processes. He's not just your typical "I must get stronger" protagonist - he's got this weird obsession with completing everything and getting those sweet, sweet achievements. His interaction with OneToRule's guild shows some solid character development, going from repeatedly stomping them to actually considering a different playstyle.
The story does a good job setting up the gaming world and its mechanics without infodumping. The descriptions of game systems like UB's bounty system and Omniscient's stat distribution feel natural and aren't overwhelming. I particularly liked how the author handled the transition between games, showing both the MC's expertise in older games and his curiosity about the new one.
Plot devices are strong and make sense within the context - the achievement hunting, the guild rivalry turned friendship, and the setup for the new game all flow naturally. The only minor gripe might be that some of the game mechanics explanations can get a bit technical, but that's pretty standard for the genre, or maybe just me being nitpicky.
Setting and game logic remain consistent throughout, and the slice-of-life elements give nice breaks between the action. Overall, it's a solid start with an interesting premise and good execution.

Your fic really captured the kind of 'Ready Play One' vibe of a futuristic gaming world, right down to achievement hunters and meta gameplay.  That I thought was excellent and really helped to set the mood.  I'm curious to see where the story is going, good work!
Style:  I like what you did with integrating the achievement pop-ups and move type names into your story.  What I feel you need more of is description.  You have so much 1st person pov from your main character, but I feel that it could be augmented by a bit more description on what they're seeing.  You also kind of blow past the real world, mentioning that it's dull and leached of color, but how is it?  Show us a little of that, don't tell us about it.
    Grammar:  Excellent, no notes
Story:  I read up to C6, and I kept waiting for a shoe to drop, some hint of what the plot will be about.  If it's about him being bored and wanting a new challenge, that may be something to build on with how the world is all "dull and colorless" - ie he needs a challenge to feel alive, needs to be pitted against the best.  There are several great characters in literature that only function when they're up against the odds, when they have no challenge, they tear themselves to pieces (Sherlock Holmes for example).
Character Score:  Ethan is a believable gamer, full of snark, arrogance, and attitude, a great person to start with.  Good job.

This modern new way of writing English, as in how individuals are refered too, is distracting and leads me to think about stuff not related to the story, so there goes my suspension of disbelief.
So basically if that way of writing annoyes you, stay away, otherwise seems like a decent story, though I didn't go very far.

Synopsis: Reading an ADHD videogame essay drom the first person.
Bias: Not a big fan of litRPGs, but if they are happening in a game it‘s fair play. Stats, quests, skills all make sense there and thus it does not stop my immersion.
Story: One of the best achievement hunters and players of old school videogames starts a new game. He tries a tamer class instead of his usuall glass cannon build. Honestly, that‘s it. As a casual read, that can be enjoyable, even if it lacks a lot of depth.
The big problem here is style: Sentences are all colloquial, they include sudden stops, slang, memes, wildly  switching thought processes and there were even Skull Emojis (!) in the text at one point.
It literally reads like a thought transcript from a teenager with ADHD and the attention span of a TikTok user. I read way too long, thinking it will change, as the concept sounded really interesting. Summoners and tamers are just cool in general.
It‘s honestly not bad otherwise. Exploring a new video game is just fun, even as a read.
Tl;dr: If you looking for a classic video game trope with a fresh exploration focus and tamed companions, but have no issue with a very colloquial and unfocused writing style, go for it, you will be satisfied.
