If you liked Azarinth healer, you will probably like this. I at least get the same feeling. Good quips so far. Author is handling progression well. IMO could go into a little more detail on some of the quest/floors but they could be like they are right now because the main character is on the early floors. Overall has my main points of a great story, stays on track to the main the plot, has character growth(power type hasn't gone too in-depth into the mental? Type), romance ;), and a good old companion. Looking forward to more chapters!

While I consider the story generally well written (characterization, natural plot progression, etc) and you should just go try it out rather than bothering to finish reading this review, which will be much less well written.
That said, if you insist on continuing, there are a few specific things that I want to talk about, mostly about how this story handles being a western cultivation progression fantasy. To put it simply, I think it's done masterfully. What I'm most impressed with is that Jamie Kojola has a cultivation power system without just ripping off the most popular Xianxia stories and all the tropes and cliches and weird artifacts of translation that English readers tend to latch on to when they want to make a cultivation story. Instead, they built their own power system that draws from xianxia and wuxia while still being independent of it, and they actually use their own writing style instead of just ripping common plot elements off other stories, which I am grateful for because it greatly improves the quality of the work.

There are a lot of litrpg, progression, and system fantasy stories out there that almost seem cookie cutter. I can enjoy those, but when you find a story with a unique spin on the lore and mechanics of a fantasy world combined with a likeable and entertaining MC that is something special.

Librarian becomes overpowered champion of a god and has to defeat evil. Sounds like a simplistic formula, but is an amazingly fun read. It's enjoyable all around. MC starts from not knowing and has to learn and grow along the way.
Only minor grammar and spelling errors, good work. I am looking forward to see how this story works out.

This is a very solid entry to the gene.
    1: Great characterization and voice.
2: Quick, but seamless, entry into the world
3: Just a lil dash of sexy, which is fun.
I'm a newcomer here to Royal Road, but as the first thing I've read on the site, it's a great start. I highly recommend checking it out!

While it's absolutely not my first, this story is among a handful of isekais I have read on Royal Road, and it does not disappoint. From start to Chapter 24, there is a clear and consistent tone from the author that this story is clearly a coming from a position of passion.
The worldbuilding is immaculate and the prose is evocative, spending a lot of time on the setting the story takes place without feeling overdone. The descriptions of not just the people but also the enemies, the places, and the powers makes it seem like it's not just some fantasy world, but a place you can really see in your mind.
Following Ria on her path has been a genuine delight, though it's best when she has people to bounce her personality off of. Dialogue and interactions are my bread and butter, and I was just floored by how natural everything felt. It's also great to have people pause when they don't understand things the MC is saying or think she needs to be called out for things but have to look at her from a position they perceive as lower, so it's all body language. Top notch.
Overall, this is a hard recommendation and, if you're reading these reviews, you should just read the story. You're missing out by not giving it a chance.

Let's start this off with a brief summary of what's happening. Aetheria, our MC, is an isekaied hero working from earth. She has been transported to Grief to overthrow the goddess by climbing 10 towers, just like the synopsis says. Now, without getting into spoilers I will say that I loved the unique take on this genre by not turning the story into an endless stat dump. This story is certainly worth investing into, and it has many things I found interesting about it like setting and how the towers function. One aspect I will critique is
the long timespan between the ancient city being abandoned and the present where the story takes place is franky insane. Billions of years is way too long. The planet's star should have turned into a red giant or gone supernova.
Overall Score 5/5 stars. I typically do not rate anything below a four star, ever. To me, a four star is a sign of serious issues that either won't be fixed, or the author refuses to fix. Anything below a four star indicates that I believe it unworthy of existing on the site. A five is a near-perfect story without many visible flaws. By this, I mean if you discount my preferences, there will not be any blemishes worth discussing. I rate this 5 stars because I believe there aren't any visible flaws in characterization, plot, or grammar worth taking real offense to.
Style score 4.5/5 stars. I usually rate the sub categories a little more harshly than the overall score. The style here is pretty okay. The flow of the story typically isn't disrupted, and while I can spot a few problem area's (using 'and' multiple times in a sentence), I can say that those instances are the exception and not the rule.
Grammar score 4.5/5 stars. The grammar is good with only a few small mistakes.
Story Score 5/5 stars. The plot is good. The synopsis has the basic things you need to know already there.
Character Score 4/5 stars. The dialogue is passable and everyone stays in character. The personalities need work though, and by this

But that is what tower climb stories are about, aren't they?
    Action, progression, and exploration.
There may be a few little nuances I would have liked to be explained in a little more detail, but that is just me, and my ocd talking. In any case, I would not say that the concept has been exceuted to perfection, but it is surely enjoyable.
When talking about style, the author clearly has show a strong style of her own, which she follows religiously. The flow of the story is smooth. Even the scene to scene transitions feel seamless. It is just that in pursuit of action, I think the author may be missing a little bit in terms of description, and building a solid base.
But when it comes to the story itself, I have no complaints. I like how th story is progressing. Even the power system is a nice deviation from normal litrg stories. Then thre are the gods, and other... alright, I should stop before I spoil too much, and move on to the next topic.
Grammar. I, myself, am a bit of a grammar nazi of a kind, so I would not say that the grammar in the novel is flawless. But it matches with the flow of the story so seamlessly that most people would not even notice the errors. Maybe that is a part of the author's style?
As for character, beside the mc, there have not been much exploration of the other characters(till the part I have read), but the character of the mc is shown in ver subtle little manners, without making things obvious. I do not know how the author will explore other characters, but for the mc, the author has done a good job.
In short, I will say that this is a good novel, and desrves a read from all tower climb fans, and of course, those peope who want a fresh change from the normal magic system.

This is a good series with the right balance of progression, fights, humor and interesting characters.  I encourage you to read it.  Grammar errors are almost non-existent so far.  Although you might not like it if you're from Wisconsin since the author seems to use that as an insult, lol.
I especially like how the "gods" and "primordial gods" are portrayed and the interplay between them. It's nice to see that it's a blend of multiple Pantheon's as well.  I can also see how this series could be continued in the future once all the Towers are completed so it's not just a typical tower climber story.  Be aware the main character is OP but that works very well with this story.  If you're a fan of MelasDelta's fictions you'll like this one as well.

I love the writing style, the characters pop in a way that's rare to see these days, and the world just sucks you in! The visual imagery pops as much as you would expect from such a vivid cover, and the MC is bold and memorable so far. I can't wait to see where this goes!
