Description

The rain had just stopped when the sky parted.

An invisible crack slowly opened above the city, emitting a dazzling bluish purple light. People looking up, stunned by the eerie silence before the disaster began. Then, there was a sound...

The rumbling sound was like the world screaming.

The phenomenon was called a “Hostle”—a dimensional rift, a portal to an unknown world. That day, the earth changed forever..

In a small southern port town, a disheveled young man was sitting alone in the corner shop, enjoying a bowl of hot soup. His dull eyes stared at the window, watching the sky is starting to darken. He was a wanderer—without a goal, without a home, just following the wind and the whispers of hunger. His name is Kael.

He was quietly eating his food when the earth shook violently. Cups fell from the table. People started to panic. But Kael just turned his head, raising his eyebrows know the lazy and curious.

Then, there was an explosion. In the middle of the square, the air seemed to be torn open. A dark gap, glowing from deep, appeared hanging in the air. Strange figures—horned, bone-robed, and fangs—came out from the portal.

Panic spread. Screams were heard everywhere.

And as Kael stood up from his seat, a voice echoed directly in his head:

[Activation System: Welcome, Potential Holders.]

[Assessing Eligibility… None potential.]

[Class: F]

[The World Energy Merger Begins…]

His body jerked. Kael's chest felt like it was burning from the inside, but his mind remained clear. He didn't know what was happening, but his body was changing. Something was rising up inside him—something that wasn't quite human.

Since that day, the world has never been the same.

Humans began to gain power. They called it “Ascedent”.

And to fight the creatures from Hostle, combat organizations were formed: Guilds.

But behind all the hustle and bustle of power and heroism, Kael—a wanderer seeking nothing—began to tread the lonely path that fate had written for him.

Because not everyone who emerges from the portal is an enemy.
