Description

Mammon, the head of Hell’s Department of Greed, feels like his life's lost its purpose ever since Humanity entered the digital age. Sure the souls were pouring in, suffering and strife’s on the rise, and Greed’s at an all-time high, but where was the fun and challenge in things when all it took to corrupt the populace was a well-timed social media propaganda campaign or more internet disinformation?

The CEO of Hell misses the good old days when none of this fancy technology got in the way of his craft. When he still had to frequent the mortal realms to craft carefully planned deals to gather souls and corrupt would-be kings and queens the old-fashioned way. That was true art!

Yet when it seemed like Mammon was doomed to spend the rest of eternity in utter boredom, a new opportunity arose that might change all of this: a summoning! But this summoning was different, if the demon’s instincts for such things were correct, then this summoning calling for his aid came not from the Earth that he was familiar with, but somewhere new. A world untainted by Hell's machinations and free from the influences of modernity.

Somewhere altogether not prepared for the Archdemon of Greed to work his magic.

It is a great story following an archdemon of greed being unsatisfied with the only ruling(who'd guess that).
It does the whole demon MC thing well with the MC not just being I'm so evil and bad look at me but as in a being having a legitimate obsession creating a feeling of what a legitimate demon would be like.
It has great potential as long as the author doesn't do a 180 on his character or become stupid evil.

This is a blast of an evil protagonist story. Which, fair warning, the MC is actually a demon. Not a somewhat violent individual called a demon discovering that the real treasure was the friends they made along the way. No, the real treasure is every bit of gold Mammon can cheat, steal, extort, and embezzle, all while corrupting the youth. Let it not be said that Mammon, Archdemon of Greed, is above picking bloody coins from the remains of their unfortunate victims.
There are several avenues of progression being set up, that of the novel magic system supporting Mammon's personal growth, the beginnings of an organization they are building, and then the education and training of their young summoner.
Overall, it's very promising, assuming you don't mind a villainous protagonist. The prose is solid, errors are few, and the world is off to an interesting start. I've been missing that black market litrpg ever since it stopped updating, and it's nice to see another up and coming crime lord.

Huge props to the author for not only writing an interesting, well styled and fun story, but also letting the MC stay in character.
Bro's a literal major demon, he's evil, he's smart - and he stays that way without any sudden "oh, being evil is bad, actually... I'll be nice now" movements.
I hope that this continues and am looking forward to reading more.
A clear recommendation for everyone, that is even slightly interested in any of the topics of the story!

As the title suggests, this story is good! While not outstanding enough for me to fervently go out of my way to recommend, it's certainly an enjoyable use of time. The main character is villainous , though somewhat of a guardian figure to a naive orphan boy, which keeps them/him grounded.
The style is, as you'd expect, much like Tismon's other work. No real major complaints here, save perhaps some awkward repeated phrases and descriptions at times.
Story is fresh, but so far hasn't really blown me out of the water with any massive concepts. I love the moral awkwardness of "not having free will"-- I'd love that to be explored more. Especially what it means to be a demon with a soul. This assessment remains for characters, neither of the two major characters have been explored in depth yet, even the POV character. Nothing glaring stands out to me as offensive, however; shallowness can be perceived as just a lack of exposure for now. I'd really like to get to know these characters more, in a deeper and more meaningful way.
Grammar... is a sticking point, sadly. Much like another novel, it's quite clear these chapters are minimally edited or even reread. It's not enough to ruin it by any means, but it catches my attention every time. Mispellings, misused apostrophes and other punctuation pieces, and close-but-not-right words are somewhat rife.
Again, nothing egregious, but it does stop a good story from being great.
Overall, a pleasing, low-stakes romp so far. I can see a lot of potential here! Let's hope it gets there!
