Neither Stone Nor Star; Fractured Foundations

Dakota graduated college right before his 25th birthday, but his plans of becoming a structural engineer went down the drain as his name was pulled in the prophecy lottery. Being a prophet for a God was the highest honor in society, second to being a God yourself. But Dakota wasn't interested, or even excited for his new future. He wanted nothing to do with the Gods, knowing they could be worse than the most corrupt government officials and those who stand by while others suffer. But the God he's tethered to isn't like the rest, intent on only two things, taking down the corrupt Gods, and Dakota's happiness.
