- SteckdoseRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5I was recommended this tale because I was looking for something cozy, slice-of-life with a bit of comedy. And that’s exactly the kind of feeling I got from it. It didn’t necessarily feel like pure slice-of-life, but it was still very enjoyable.
The descriptions that were used were always very well done, and they mostly focused on physical details rather than on describing emotions. I really liked that, because many other stories tend to overdescribe feelings, and it often ends up sounding like someone is just explaining a synonym with another synonym. If you know what I mean — I’m not sure how to express that properly. Overall, it’s been a very enjoyable read so far.
The reason I’m giving this story four and a half stars instead of five isn’t because I felt like anything was missing or that something was bad. It’s simply because, while I really enjoy it and feel invested, it doesn’t quite reach that “all-time favorite” level for me.
I guess my favorite character up to now is Liona.
