It is hard to find the right words to properly review this story because I have so many things to say. First, I want to applaud the author's creative mind, and ackowledge the hours of editing and reasearch that clearly went in to this. It gives the story so much depth, and shows that the author truly cares about their work to ensure everything is accurate. The characters are endearing, especially the Crowsongs that managed to escape the Solstice of Souls. Gabriel being my absolute favorite, and the tragedy of Sarah and Elias, both being redured useless but useful at the same time. Even Valoria captured my heart in the end. The world building is fantastic. The descriptions build a very clear picture of everything going on. The story builds on itself more and more with each chapter. Clara's fight to defend her family and those around her while still maintaing compusre knowing certain events that are to come and that this is the last try she's got to make everything right is highly relatable and respectable. Reincarnation stories with original detail are hard to find these days. And this one thus far is the most original work I have ever read. The author puts their everything into this, you can absolutely tell. Especially the character of Clara. Normally stories like this involve a love interest for the main character, and we have yet to see one. She does not use her knowledge of her past lives against anyone or anything, just purely to reach her main goal. Talk about girl power. There are people she has met along the way that grow and develop in their own right, and it is neat to watch that happen too. One character in particular has captivated my interest since she was first introduced and continues to do so with each passing chapter she is in. I do not usually latch on to a main character, but Clara Crowsong sticks out. A cut above the rest. I enjoy this story very much and can't wait to see where it continues to go!

WOW this story is dark and riveting so far and I'm loving it. I'm a sucker for time loop stories and this one does an excellent job of describing the emotions and struggles that a person might deal with when being stuck inside one. The world building was AHH! *chef's kiss* and you glean a lot of information about characters and the world they're in without it feeling like forced exposition. Characters feel three dimensional, and have more oomf to them than just one personality trait. I genuinely cackled and laughed out loud at some interactions, which is kind of crazy considering how dire the situation was during those scenes. The author did a great job of capturing my attention and I couldn't stop reading once I got into it. The style of writing is interesting too. I'm not normally a fan of first person stories, as I prefer third person, but because you get so sucked into Clara's story and history almost immediately, I found I didn't care at all. In fact, I think first person was a great choice here. As a final note: Clara is a queen and a diva and I am excited to see where this story goes!! Highly recommend to any time loop or fantasy enjoyer. :)

Clara's story is such an interesting one, and I really enjoy learning about the world she finds herself in, from the magic system to her family history and the allies she finds herself depending on in one way or another. It's also neat getting to see what Clara knows from having gone through this life over and over and what is still new to both her and the reader despite everything. I also love the way the mystery is developing, there's often even more questions that arise with the answers thus far, which is really fun this early on in the story. Even with all her previous knowledge, I like that Clara's determination to accomplish her goals often seems to be what really makes the difference in the end, I'm definitely rooting for her!

Clara is just about to finish her 99th life. She's laying defeated in a battlefield, surrounded by casualties; face to face with an enemy that she was still unable to beat despite everything. And at once she's whisked away by Death, and (after some quarreling with the devil himself and a mysterious woman) is thrown into what is to be her final chance.
What follows is one of the most fun things I've read on royalroad.
I put on some great music and had such a grand time reading through the first 13 chapters.
We're still at the very start of what will clearly be a long book so I'll keep things short for now. But even at this stage there are already so many little things I'm already invested in even outside of just the main storyline going on at the moment, the story practically oozes the author's love of it out of each page. Though a little heavyhanded at times, the world just feels beloved.
I already caught myself questioning how certain things would work in this world (such as Clara's soul being regenerated with her regression, which probably means there is a deeper layer to the being of the person beyond the soul somewhere where her thoughts must be stored, or the soul itself has compartments) and I'm genuinely excited about so many elements and details littered across the chapters which I believe is is a very promising sign for what's to come.
Any experience that can break apathy even if it's just for a moment merits attention.
    In short: Read it.

I don't usually 'read' (I'm more of an audiobook listener), but this story has been one of my rare exceptions so far. Clara is just damn interesting, to the point where I really just want to know what she thinks about seemingly inane things. For a first person story, it's hard to find a better compliment. Would definitely recommend!

    Overall Review:
This is an excellent beginning to a story that stands apart from a lot of other stories by its storytelling, characters, and perspectives. It eschews traditional concepts (especially on RR) for different approaches to characterization, storytelling perspective, and fantasy tropes and delivers a more nuanced view that a lot of stories lack. I think the author should feel proud of what they've written so far and follow their instincts moving forward. this is great stuff.
    Style:
The style is refreshingly different and can take a bit of getting used to. We're really experiencing what the character experiences. Confusion, disorientation, anger, sadness, and all the other emotions that make us human are seen in the way the characters interact. Sometimes it can be a bit much but that's okay. I prefer my stories not too easy to read.
    Story:
It's still early days as far as the story is concerned, but so far I'm quite excited. There's significant, but not too broad, world-building. We're aware of overarching goals and plotlines, but we remain focused on what matters, while occasionally getting glimpses of the horizon.
    Grammar:
This one's easy; there's not much to say. The writing is very high quality. I don't have anything else to add.
    Character:
Clara is a really interesting so far. You can sense the competence combined with occasional rage that is understandable given what she's gone through. I like the side characters as well, although keeping track of relatives can be a challenge. Especially compelling are the "villains". Death and his minions are believable within the context of the world and story. I'm a little more fuzzy on the family rivalry, but I buy it in the context of the world, or at least what we know of it.
    Critiques:
All fairly minor at this point, but I've alluded to a few things so far: sometimes characters are a bit hard to keep track of. There are a lot of them, and all these relatives that get mentioned once or twice can get confusing, at

My 100th life will be my last is a very fun read I'd have to recommend, though unconventional in some ways.
Though the basic idea of the plot's something I've seen quite a few times before, I generally expect a reincarnation story like this to feel a bit more like a shonen plot. Instead, this reminds me a lot more of something I'd read in a Seijo story, with the nobility and the setting feeling much more at home in a reincarnation romance story. This is absolutely to the story's benefit, and I found myself immediately at home with the dialogue and plot feeling a lot more snappy. The power system is defined just enough to give a good idea of what the main characters are up to, but varied enough I didn't feel like I could predict what someone's power or abilities were. As groundhog day storytelling went, it used the time loop without getting too hooked on making the main character too disaffected or 'seen it before', meaning I felt like I could really connect with her. Clara Crowsong is a fully realized character, and while she's tough, she still has a lot of little moments that show she's a lot more than that, and she's not made with such skin of iron that her reactions aren't interesting and fun. I find myself often disliking stories of this genre because I feel they grow too prideful of their main character or too passive in how things are handled - this being Clara's final try really grinds in that the stakes are high and removes that normal wall from caring about the story's outcome.
As for the characters outside Clara - I cannot name a named character in the story I dislike yet! Development is punchy and fast and the dialogue style used by the author is good at communicating who everyone is from the get-go. No one quite talks like one another, and while the dialogue does shy from realism at times, it does that with the purpose of characterization, which matters a lot.
The setting within the first 11 chapters is well communicated, but the breakneck pace does prev

Fantastic series written beautifully with compelling characters and rich drama. It is a spellbinding read that is sure to hold a place in your heart. Clara is a very likable character and I am invested and excited to see where the story goes and how she manages to pull everything off in the end. 10/10 highly recommend.

I like the world, that was created.
Sadly some interactions between characters feel unnatural, and the power level isn't really clear.
I give it a solid 3.5, it wasn't bad but not good enough to keep me. However, I'd say read like the first 30 chapters and you will know if it might be something for you.
