There are currently two books in this series and I've got both. And I tore through them in short order. Couldn't put them down.
The given description pretty much sums up the premise, with the caveat that step 5 is more: make everyone leave the MC and his friends and family in peace. Which in fairness may actually require conquering the world, or at least a sizable portion of the continent.

I buy all of MSE's books. Monster Empire is my favorite, with Destroyer being a close second. If you like fantasy with a touch of Sci/Fi then this books for you. Monster girls / Alien girls abound, base building and dinosaurs, then this book is for you! Give it a try, then check out the rest of the series on Michael Scott Earle's website.
