Picked up the story at random, as it was on my front page. I typically don't read much slice of life, but as I'm broadening my horizons, I decided to give it a go.
I'm glad I did.
Experiencing the inner workings of a magical bookstore and discovering the magic therein has been an enjoyable and intriguing experience. There are many things unrevealed, which adds to the wonder of discovery.
As this was one of the first Slice of Lifes I've read, I'd suggest it for any newcomers to the genre.
Also... Cats > Dogs.

Lovely relaxing story exploring a rich, well-developed world (the author already published 3 novels in the same setting, which i guess helps). While generally low-stakes and cozy, the author still manages top explore some serious themes and show deep character development. There's also a constant serious overtone hinting at something greater. While few in number we really get to know all of the characters in-depth and they're all well-rounded, intriguing individuals, although its a tad challenging keeping track of the MC's many similarly name brothers.

Reminds me of Ilona Andrews’ Innkeeper series, with an MC who doesn’t start on third base. Actually cozy, with characters who change and grow without horrible conflicts. I bought both books currently available for comfort reading. If you like this, you will also like her Traveler series, which I also bought after reading on KU.

Love it. Very cosy read in blankets with a mug of mocha. Some minor issues with confusing wording at start and end of some chapters but hardly detracts from the story. Cute dragon more than makes up for it.
Would love to see more worlds, adventurers and magic 😊. Also I have a serious need to know indigos reaction to donuts lol.
