Description

Once dreaming of knighthood, his life is shattered when assassins murder his family, abduct his sister, and leave him for dead, his family name tarnished with heresy.

Amidst the ashes of his former life, he vows vengeance, a vow that echoes through the realm, awakening a dark destiny.

Bestowed the forbidden powers of a Necromancer, he embarks on a perilous journey across lands rife with monsters and ancient evils, becoming embroiled in wars that test his resolve. As he masters the necromantic arts, he faces the moral quandaries of his new powers, taking lives both innocent and guilty in his quest.

Along his path, he encounters allies, mentors, and even deities, but his resolve remains unshaken. No force, mortal or divine, will deter him from his vengeful path.

Very good work author keep it up!!
Overall this felt good to read, these are the first chapters, and more prologue than anything else but I liked it a lot, the main character is fantastic, he is smart, attentive, unique and focused, he has a goal and mercy on those who want to stop him, really liked these first chapters.
Style:very good, well written detailed but not too much and I don't know what else to say, it reads well the grammar is kinda bad but not a big problem.
Story: it's quite good, the Mc has a focus and I have an idea of where it's headed, I have an inkling of the enemy's goal and I like it, he may have to fight the saintess and the hero, could be a lot different, it's unique enough that I like it a lot but evil enough that I feel for the Mc
Grammar :as I said there are mistakes some big some inconsequential but they are sparse and don't ruin my reading so I don't really care
Character :this is where this one shines, I love the Mc, he is extremely well characterized, he has a burning focus on his sister and revenge but he is not emotionless by any means, he can still love and be happy or sad or angry he is unique and cunning as a character, I am biased since I love necromancers and their powers but I don't care, the other characters are plenty good enough still no fixed characters around the mc, only these unknown enemies but it's still the beginning, plenty of time for companions, alive or not.
Author, very good start, keep up the quality and you will have a Masterpiece, take your time with the chapters but don't slack off I already want more. Good luck and good writing

Fantastic book that I have really enjoyed! I think the chapters now are getting better and better which puts me ready to read each chapter as it comes out. I have enjoyed the character development and reading about a character who has little empathy, but not in a poorly done way. It is very well done and adds more to his development throughout the book so far. 100% recommend!!

well this was a great novel just not very known i hope this review helps the novel get more famous and out there so more people can enjoy it.
overall this was a great novel i really recommend it and anti hero tag and strategy are really something here so expect it . the war and military is there but kinda 40% involved!! the kingdom building stuff or army management are for later chapters and not really that much explored. and well progression obviously . due a big mystery for me is the amount of uniqueness for the MC . like it is expected for them to be special obviously or we would not tell a story about them but it has to be explained some how, other wise there would have been hundred of MC s running around in the story . yeah hard work and brilliance only take you so far and chance is applicable but still ....
the characters in the novel are great and also special for several reasons :
    1. main character is alive and also evolving i rarely see an evolving and changing main character they are just copy pasted people going through copy pasted progression this guy's something else he is genuinely changing according to circumstances and his beliefs not just cause someone wants him in a special mode to do something .
    2. side characters there is good and bad side characters i the novel and by bad i don't mean evil i mean bad as in a lazy person a content or overly ambitious and normal people here we specially see a very unique childhood naivety and love attempts that is very refreshing the scenes are not generated they are actually thoughtful and let's say i love the side characters a lot.
the grammar is great some typos that i think will be corrected with an edit and some issues in texts like miss placing the names with other names or not writing and missing things i did not see a big issue and it was up to standard and most of the issues are in the 100 to now chapters later ones i think in time the author started editing earlier ones or comments helped or something .

The main character, Alaster, is written very well, his goal is well defined and his personality is rather detailed. The abilities/skills/spells are all well made and balanced, and the lore is really good too. My only complaint is that it doesn’t release fast enough. I want to know what happens now not in 2 day (i think the update schedule is fine, im just impatient). Other than that, the necromancy is awesome as well, and I wish the author the best.

So yeah, I read the title and thought to myself "Eh, why not?"
I totally wasn't expecting to read 80 chapters or so in just a few days, so it's that good.
It has its faults, a few grammar mistakes and misspells (eh, punny funny) but honestly, not that many to be bothersome.
The plot starts a bit on the grimdark side of things, which deeply affects the mc in a constant cold mood. His experiences shape him in way already defined in the story: strong but broken.
I'm loving it, really! It just needs a few things fixing which the author can easily adress like, well, the lack of character interaction. MC's a lonely put thankfully different POVs add a little more worldbuilding in a subtle way (honestly, this you do great!) whithout any infodumps. Pacing is great, I just want a deeper and profound main character to truly love and you are shaping him into something we all can appreciate and enjoy.
Thank you! Keep strong and unbroken!

The story has plenty of positives. Cool worldbuilding, interesting decision making, some fun characters. I was looking forward to a revenge plot with a necromancer growing stronger before raising an army to save his sister and avenge his parents.
Unfortunately, I lost interest and dropped the story. The MC just started to have so many bonuses, handouts, and opportunities shoved down his throat that I couldn't stomach it any longer. Also, big picture conflicts of the setting started to take over the plot before the lower stakes personal conflict even had a chance to begin.
The story still has a lot of good stuff and some readers won't mind the things that bothered me, so I think it still deserves at least 4 stars.

First off, the story is an interesting premise and I really enjoyed the idea and almost all of the implementation. Well worth a read for sure.
Worldbuilding was ok, there were some hiccups in it or just flat out random info dumps. But overall you get some idea of that is going on.
MC is pretty consistent in most of his actions and stays true to his character for the most part. The growth and development make sense for the most part with the occasional unexplained character action.
Errors in grammar and spelling so appear throughout but while I know they were semi regular they weren’t too immersion breaking.
What killed this story for me is the later time skip that occurred. While the author does a reasonable job explaining the things that occurred and giving us some glimpse, it completely destroyed the flow of the story for me. Even the event preceding it being semi predictable was ok, but that skip just took it from great to good for me.

This is a message to the author. Don't take this review personally, I just want to write a review as constructive as possible. I really like how you write, and I hope you can get better too. That being said, here I go.
So, first of all, what I liked. The style of writing was really nice, and easy to read. It got me into reading chapter after chapter without need to rest.
The story you present is interesting too, but here is where I start my criticism. After reading a bit, I cannot stop feeling that the story wasn't planned in advance more than 5 or chapters ahead. This can be seen when the author changes how the level up system works, or when he contradicts himself talking about common world knowledge. Also when characters change their opinion without much reason, or when he just "throws" to us newt things without any previous notice. One example is the introduction of dungeons. After almost 50 chapters without hearing about them at all, we just get a chapter where we get to know that they are actually super important to the world, even separating normal nations from the most powerful ones. The characters stories and background are also quite full of holes, as well as the world itself and its hierarchy.
In general, I wouldn't say it's without salvation, but I really think that it needs to be rewritten from the ground, with better planning and knowing where you want it to go.
PD: the chapters don't have many typos or grammar mistakes, but it's true that sometimes the author repeats the same words a bit too much. Having in the same paragraph more than one phrase saying "MC did this, MC did that, MC did those" or saying "I did this but not this. But I didn't do this either", are some generic examples of things that could be improved from the writing style too

As much as I enjoy this I have to be objective, every single chapter is in need of editing. I probably would give 3,5 stars but I think the author is either young or this is one of his first stories. The mistakes in writing are usually misspelling and poorly put together sentences, there are also a lot of repetitions of describing something (the boy did this, the boy did that) which usually is something that happens on young authors or on those that have English as a second language, I know this because it happened to me when I was younger. The story itself is fine but there are some problems, such as the problems in the characters that have or had absolute power (mentors, kings), you can’t write them being lighthearted and funny in exactly the same way you write a farmer or guard they must project power or mystery in the way they communicate, this is a written story not a pictured book so they can project charisma through the pic. All in all the story is enjoyable but it has the mentioned detractors if it is edited it would be a solid 4,2 stars. Keep it up dude and get an editor, thanks for the story.

So first off the pacing is completely off the rails. Events are condensed and pushed into a single chapter and sometimes even a single paragraph. Details are not given and the rare chance that they are it is almost completely abstract. The MC is…very one dimensional to be completely honest. The side characters are also one dimensional just with a bit of flash to them.
Now the grammar, misspelling and just complete lack of words. It doesn’t get any better later on and despite people commenting and pointing out the mistakes they are never corrected. I doubt they are even looked at. It is obvious this is probably the authors first story but even then a hint of editing would be welcome. Sadly it isn’t, half the story is filled with mistakes and the other half is just plain missing. And i am only 24 chapters in!
To summarize this story has potential only if it gets a rewrite. The author ignores everyone who tries to help with editing. And the MC is so one dimensional that any background character could be more interesting.
