Description

Mana is abundant and exists within all creatures... until Markus takes it.

Summoned to the terrifying world of Firrelia, forced to fight to survive, Markus awakens to a power so vast, so rare that it has every god there trying to either recruit Markus for his potential or straight up murder him.

Fuck that. Markus is gonna take this whole world down, beginning with the demonic asshole that brought him here.

He's starting from nothing, the difficulty's insane, and he's got so much mana in his body that it might kill him, but he's determined to thrive. For each monster Markus [Devours], he grows stronger, and he's quickly growing an appetite for every monster, demon, saint, ascendant, ancient, warlord, and king that dares get in his way.

What to expect:

- A unique and dynamic system that combines elements of LitRPG, cultivation, and other magic systems.

- Weak to strong to OP.

- MC that makes mistakes and learns from them.

- Magic, swords, and multiple original worlds.

- Unlocking the infinite secrets of Mana Manipulation.

- No harems!

The story is slightly formulaic in that it is a "summoned to another world" but it diverges quickly from the run of the mill isekai fantasies in that the summoner is a demon, and quite honest about their intentions to have the MC work for them or die. (or both)
What follows is in interesting introduction to a system, while the MC have to keep getting stronger since if he manages to make it through the contracted number of fights... well, he won't, but even if - getting home is not going to be easy.
While the MC getting a "cheat skill" is a tad overdone, the skill is somewhat balanced in the hands of someone who can't just rely on it all the time - it still gets a lot of mileage, but the purported easy way out isn't available, and our hero (ish) MC has to do what a System-inspired hero does best - git gud and get stronger. All the while relying on the kindness of (demon) strangers and resisting the advances of gods who wants to contract him - well, own him, really - yet not do so in a way that makes his current master grow irritated enough to kill him.
The worldbuilding is interesting, if not quite as detailed due to the MC being almost a frog in a well (a slave in a demon dimension, but who's counting; I need to get my Xianxia references in where I can, darn it!) but he keeps chugging on, one step - and level - at a time.
Style: It is from the POV of the MC from a world similar to ours and it handles it quite admirably.
Grammar: I was pleasantly surprised by the lack of things to complain about; the worst I can say is a slight overuse of exclamation marks, but since it is part of a certain character, I'm happy to put that to the "voice" of the character rather than the author being one of... those people. The exclamation mark addicts, I mean.
Story: The story goes pretty intense from the start, with occasional downtime and (limited) world exploration. The fighting scenes are good, and don't overuse the Skill attacks in lieu of describing what's happening.

Any time I see a new chapter is out, I drop whatever I'm doing and get back to Firrelia with Markus (the protagonist).
I first began reading this on Reddit but when I caught up with the latest chapter release I joined the Patreon to get the next 8 chapters. Gotta have something to read on the train.
Markus shows complex emotional range as he struggles to survive and escape the clutches of those who would control him and his enigmatic potential for use in their own plots. The side characters also demonstrate depth through every chapter they spend with Markus, revealing aspects of their respective lives, worries and ambitions.
The magic system with it's paths, power scaling and mysteries to unlock feels intuitive as we go through levels with the protagonist. Firellia's politics as we have seen them, have room to grow far beyond the devious factions introduced so far. With Gods, Nobles and the wealthy all prying for greater power and the means to take it. There are even hints at happenings in greater realms with perhaps even more powerful beings in control. The raw potential of this world have me on edge wondering what will happen next. Even when I think I know what I want to happen, I am proven wrong by a new development that makes this world even more enticing to dig into.
Great read, best thing I've read all year!

In short, this is just a amazing litrpg story not many issues at all for stories of this genre, plus the bonus of an likable MC.
Style: The story is told in first—and third-person narration with little snippets of surrounding characters' dialogue. It's execution is perfect and clean.
Story: Nice plot and hints of something beyond gladiator fights.  MC gets summoned, and gets thrown into a fight. But because of his new situation he is able to clinch victory which jumpstarts the plot from there. After you explore past the gladiator grounds the world feels vast, mysterious and absolutely waiting to be explored.. Numbers mean something, and the power hierarchy is clearly defined.
Grammar: Really Nice. It's good to see that this aspect of the story is being held up with all the other ones too.
Characters: The MC is just great. I do not hate him in the slightest. Everyone surrounding him feels more like an extension of the author than their person. The MC knows how to take charge of his own life and his advantages and disadvantages in the new world
Every other character is very interesting and have unique personalities befitting the setting and their station.
TLDR: I did really enjoyed the story. The MC's power is very interesting and introduces room for more plot points and arcs. The MC is strong and determined as well as easy to follow.

I just binge read this story from 2pm to 2am on the HFY subreddit.
I specifically made this account originally to leave a review for this story because of how much I enjoyed it. I have a reddit account of the same name that's been active for 11+ years to verify I'm not a bot.
The story has easy to follow combat that is impactful and leaves you tense waiting for the next; world building that has the perfect amount of mystery and structure and excellent pacing. It's just a fun, enjoyable read that makes you feel like a badarse and drags you along with the protagonist as they try to not only survive but thrive in the shituation they've been forced into.
I eagerly await more of this story as at the time of writing this I finished chapter 30 on reddit.
The story is an isekai with enticing power scaling and interesting world mechanics.
The races are varied and currently follow a demon vs god system with no religious overtones. The demons are dicks and the gods are bigger dicks.
I've watched and read 100s of Isekais and I would rate this as one of the rare ones I could recommend to people outside of the scene.

Started reading the yesterday.  Kept hitting next before I had a chance to thank for the chapter.
Is starts off very fast pace.  Good understanding of what's going on even though we are learning a he does about the world. Interesting mechanics. waiting for when the MC can finish a fight without being messed  up afterwards.
Worth the read of you have the time as it's hard to put down.

Amazing story telling coupled with great writing style. Can recommend this story to anyone who likes fast pace progression mage mc. This story depicts different emontional stages of the mc with great detail, without it feelibg like the story is only about his mental health. Overall very good charackter design with new ideas and a refreshing atmosphere

Excellent start. Mc gets thrust into the action immediately and has an interesting skill set. He is overpowered for his level but not for the world. The plot feels focused and I'm hoping there won't be too many side quests.
Well written, I haven't noticed any mistakes.
I'm interested in seeing where this goes.

It is unique, fun, and gets your blood racing. The dynamic between the MC and side characters is also fun. I can't wait to see where this story goes, because it has so much potential. I think it can use more chapters and the larger following and adoption of the series will come.

In short, this is just a standard lit-RPG story with all the issues this genre is known for, plus the bonus of an MC who can't be silent for a minute.
Style: The story is told in first—and third-person narration with little snippets of surrounding characters' dialogue. It's standard for a novel.
Story: It almost directly starts in the middle. There should be a much needed prologue or exposition of the world, characters, or anything. MC gets summoned, shows himself as an absolute clown and gets thrown into a fight he should have no chance of winning. The story needs a better start. And MC should be less... Not wanting to live.
Author needs to make you want to explore the world he created. It also needs to fix the flaws of RPG of numbers that are not relatable and the power scale that is really hard to grasp. Skills also need to be logical in their rarities..
    Grammar: Normal.
Characters: The MC is just, he needs to be better. I do not like him.
Surrounding him characters should be more unique, alive, rather than feel like an extension of the author. Don't just use them to move the plot and throw them away. Make them more clever and act more like they are described.
Improve the story, if it gets a rewrite dm me.

The story overall is good, well written, fast pace, good ideas, etc.
But the author suddenly disappeared after chapter 52 and at this point I am afraid it's discontinued. Shame, really. I was so invested in the MC.
I will not recommend it, unless you are a new reader in the future, and you can see at least 60 chapters, which means it restarted at some point.
