The most mysterious main character Zeke is on a long and impossible journey searching for his younger brother within this modern heka (magic) wielding world. Zeke's younger brother Max mysteriously disappeared before his eyes 10 years ago. In his Association Lost Haven, the members aren't fond of him. In fact, they despise him and call him a monster. Always talking amongst each other, assuming Zeke is responsible for his brother's disappearance. What is the truth?

Not only is he mysterious, but his heka abilities are too. He's one of a kind person that has two heka abilities (read character profiles to learn more).Zeke uses his potion-making skills in one of the most underrated Associations in his country of Ovidinia to create a living. He takes complex mission requests in search of the Forbidden Forest (the location his brother was last seen). Why did the Great Council forbid entry into this forest? What are they hiding from the world?

Zeke and other association members break into a Daunt (lawless association) base on one fateful mission, and he meets a unique girl named Rue. Her heka is unusual, and he takes an interest in her. After saving her, she teams up with him and helps the search for his missing brother.What other hardships will they face? The adventure begins.

I'm always down for some tragic sad backstories. The psychology within this story is overlook and I love how the author puts thought into the mental health of their characters. The characters are all interesting and their magic powers are pretty cool too. I seen this story on wattpad first and the art on wattpad was beautiful it's a shame it's not included on this version but I like how the author implicated the character profiles. We even can read on their magic. I just like how the author is creative and puts mystery with action and adventure. As they said, the adventure just begun and there seems like more to come. I recommend this story!

I actually LOVEE this story. It has everything you need. Mystery, adventure, action, AND potential romance!! This kind of reminds me of a light novel to be honest. I mean that in a good way. The pacing is great and the characters are very dynamic and interesting, but the main protagonist Zeke is the MOST interesting. He’s so unexpected and I believe overpowered lol. He is the most mysterious one and the hints of his backstory are so saddd. It seems like the author is building up something good. I don’t want to spoil much but the foreshadowing is crazyy Not only that, the character’s abilities are very interesting and creative!! You can read about the main characters in the character profile section but I would recommend reading that part first so you get a better feel of the story. The only thing I would like to see more of is those action fight sequences. I feel some are too short and could’ve been a little longer. The fact this is their first story is pretty impressive and in my opinion underrated. But I know reads like this isn’t for everyone but give it a chance. I personally can’t wait for the next one to come out. Overall 10/10 read and I highly recommend it.

Having just completed reading the story, I found it to be an intriguing piece of work. While the author's writing style may appear to be novice, I believe that it is entirely acceptable. After all, everyone has to begin somewhere, and with the right amount of dedication, constructive criticism, and experience, they can perfect their craft and become outstanding writers. I must say, I am thoroughly impressed with how the author has crafted each character in this story. Their personalities are all so distinct and multifaceted, making the plot all the more captivating. The author's meticulous attention to detail in breaking down each of the main characters and delving into their unique strengths and weaknesses is truly commendable. This approach not only adds depth to the story but also helps the reader better understand the characters and their motivations. I find this aspect of the story incredibly helpful and engaging. Not only that the mystery surrounding Zeke and all of his actions really kept me on the edge of my seat. I found myself constantly wondering what his true motives were and what secrets he was hiding. The way the story was written definitely left room for more exploration of Zeke's character, as well as other potential side stories and plot twists. Overall, it was a captivating read that left me wanting more. Can't wait!
