- MauraRandikRoyal Road★★★★ 4.0Lord of flowers has a style similar to Game of Thrones, where the different protagonists are in different places and have their own goals and problems in mind inside a high fantasy world habitated by magical and interesting creatures.
The author details them very well, the only issue it is during the dialogue it is difficult to identify who is talking (althought my TDAH does not help much as well). There are some minor grammar erros (most misspelling).
The descripiton of the world helps to enhance how magical the world is, althought a minor technological thing that was mencioned during the prison escape makes a bit confusing if the story is from a past or a contemporary era.
Pace is good, wich dictates well the story and the characters in a way that does not feel forced.
Overall, it is a good novel with a great potential to show more about the politics and relations between the countries and also between the characters. I look forward to know about what happenned with Xochil after Tamas went to the monastery, what will happen to him during the treatment, to find out about the reason about Patsik uneasiness and what will result his interaction with Marhawet.
