Lifeweaver: A Healer LitRPG

Description
In a world where magic becomes real the change begins with a TV announcement. Luke Quinn is twenty-six, broke, and a disappointment to everyone, himself most of all. Once a promising med student, he’s now slinging burgers and nursing guilt over the sister he couldn’t cure. But everything changes when an impossible broadcast interrupts every screen on Earth, announcing the start of a “System Integration” and inviting humanity to touch mysterious orbs appearing in every city. Monsters. Magic. Classes. Levels. HEALS. Earth is no longer just a planet, it’s part of a larger system. With nothing left to lose, Luke takes the plunge and becomes something vanishingly rare: a healer. But this isn’t a game. Healing takes more than mana. It takes nerve, precision, and pain. Especially when every touch could mean life or death. Now Luke must master his strange, intricate Lifeweaver powers while navigating the tutorial, volatile teammates, and a still intact Earth where society is trying to make sense of everything that's happening. What to expect: * Non-sociopathic (but pragmatic) Healer MC * Non-Isekai story taking place on Earth after System arrives * Weak to strong * Slice of life elements * More medical info than you probably want or need * Releases 5x per week (M-F)

- YukifuriRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I've very much enjoyed this one so far. The MC has a very interesting, and unique to me, take on a healer class. Much more precision based than I'm used to, but all the more effective for it. He isn't a lone wolf, with a good friend and a family to look after, which definitely gives him more depth.I would call this a system semi-apocalypse, as the system shows up, but doesn't permanently throw the laws of physics out the windows. There are definitely consequences however, and struggles both personally, and the greater social and political landscape as a whole. There are definitely dark moments, but it isn't without hope.My only complaint would be the fact that the chapters are quite short, though given that they're posted quite frequently that is somewhat mitigated. It just feels jarring when I get to the end of the chapter and yet it feels like it's just getting started. However allowing for a few days for them to build up will help with that.

it is a cool fic and is a 10/10 in my books 📚
I like the mc’s best friend cause he seems like a cool dude to be around - Tom Nirmal josephRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The MC is loveable in a very relatable way. His choices are mostly what one of us would make given the circumstances. (Except his power and profession choices though, that's even better than what I would have chosen probably) I love the fact that everyone gets that much to choose from to begin with. The changes to his personality with time and situations feels genuine too. The side characters are solid and vast as well.
The author even seems ready to check for and correct any mistakes like the miss of a 0.5 attributes (which I couldn't even feel anyways).
The story line depicts the chaos and immense pace with which our world would likely adapt to changes like portals and powers. It's feels honest than idealistic and basically just makes me feel that I am living it, as if the fights and danger was just a look away, and that's exactly what I want out of a story as well.
The one time it was a different pov, I loved it more and i would be happier if I could get more of those, but I am quite alright with Luke's pov alone.
Overall...finger licking good, and can't wait to get more. The going pace is faster than what I thought I wanted till I got it . - RedDragonFanRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0The MC is a likable, average person who makes reasonable decisions. I like how he uses his powers and their potential, especially since he's a rear-guard healer.
The world is very similar to ours before integration, and is responding very logically. I like the fact that it's not an end of the world situation but the beginning of something new.
Look forward to see what's next. - Austin Smith 40504Royal Road★★★★★ 5.0A amazing book I have enjoyed it so far I am up to chapter 40 and I hope I can read even more of it the author listens to readers ideas and understands how not everyone will like the book but he tries to still make it as good as he can.
he also supports other authors by leaving their books in the intro of chapters sometimes - YulweiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0It's unique for a System integration in that it doesn't wipe out all of the old world so it's more comparable to a dungeon diver than anything else except we're starting from the ground floor rather than entering a world where dungeon diving is already the norm. MC's healing is clearly magical but a lot more grounded than most I've seen without being disgusting like some flesh weaving stories.I look forward to seeing where this goes
- McSamsoniteRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0Personally, I love playing healers in RPGs, so I was naturally drawn to this story. I love the MC and his logical take on what’s happening around him. Soderberg has a great way of integrating the real world with a sudden influx of magic powers. (I don’t know if politics would work as quickly as in this story, but that’s just me. lol)There are things I could nitpick at, but let’s be honest, very few stories are perfect. And this one has far more pros than cons. On top of that, the recent edits Soderberg made have decreased the cons by quite a bit.
- Author ArtemisRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0As a fan of healer main characters, I jumped on this story as soon as I first saw the ad.The System has come to Earth, and Luke chose to become a Lifeweaver! It works quite a bit differently from the other healer classes, and despite the system warning him that most healers die fast, he's hanging in there.Style: Written in third person perspective, with a decent amount of [System] text that doesn't overwhelm.Grammar: Great, no complaints. The sentence structure is easy to read and neither too simple nor so complex that it’s hard to tell what’s going on. The dialogue reads naturally.Story: Intriguing! But it’s a bit of a slow burn. There’s a lot of mysteries at this point that Luke hasn’t really had the time to look into, as he’s not only pursuing the system-driven goals of clearing Dungeons and fulfilling quests, but he’s also trying to find a way to use his new healing powers to help people with real life diseases and ailments, including his sister. The author includes a lot of real life medical information and shows how the Lifeweaver’s powers interface with real medical problems. Lifeweaver doesn’t just restore HP, it lets him magically stitch bodies and tissues together!Character: I like the characters. Not just Luke, but also the other side characters and his family. But they are definitely side characters, and the story primarily follows Luke. Luke is a good person, and he takes realistic approaches to learning about his new System-powers, growing stronger himself, and trying to help people. So far his character arc has felt a little flat, but the story has been driven by plot developments so far and it seems like the story has a lot more to go, so I’m along for the ride.Definitely check it out if you like Healers!
- RaccoonukiRoyal Road★★★★★ 5.0I reserve the right to change my mind.... but hot damn. I was initially a bit underwhelmed by the description, but the author just undersold it. While the premise is nothing new or groundbreaking the parts that make it up are nuanced and exciting. Stormcaller cheerleader who chants to actually hype the storm? Fucking genius. I've read other healer stories, but the emphasis on weaving in life weaver is classy. Give it a try.
- Malefic VIIIRoyal Road★★★★★ 4.5You know I really don't know what to write that's my first review but I am doing it because I think this story is low-key tuff. Luke has a nice mindset it really inspires to help other people. And the story is so far nice I am at book 2 chapter 92 and read it in only 3 days
