A boy abandoned to the winter was saved by a slave only to experience the harsh reality of his life and the pain that comes with living in a world that's just trying to survive day to day. He is abused and ridiculed by the people around him and goes into seclusion, but what happens when he runs into someone that was in the same situation as him.Violence,Gore,and desperation. Do not read if you don't like mature settings. (I don't really use swear words.)

The narration style is really dated and awkward, particularly when it cuts in on modern ideas to completely break the 4th wall and jam the concept of slavery in this world versus the real world. It breaks the immersion and makes it really difficult to get back into it after such an aside and this is the beginning. The whole fact he's abused after is a bit much, and we at least a name before its out, but I couldn't get immersed into it thanks to the awkward narration.
