Since I finally gotten over myself to write a Review, lets make it quick:
First of all this novel may not appear to a large audience. When I look at the Rising Star list many Novels appear to appeal to hype-trains, idolization, fetischist or notorious character shippers.
I dont see that happening in this novel. While the MC is an absolut unit or at least will become one the book is written in such a humble way that all those distracting things can be put away and you solely can focus on the story or how the MC interacts with the world.
Personally I lile this writing style very much and consider this book a hidden gem.
The chsracters and events are all very impressionable, I dont know why, but sometimes I have really an Issue getting into the flow of a simulcasted novel when I binge read another, sometimes I even come to abhor what I loved before. Though this novels seems to be a lighthouse in a storm, whenever I see a new release I have no trouble mentally picking out a Timeline with als Characters on it, even those barely mentioned.
My recommendation give it a try, espacially the later chapter seem to get better the more I read.

The Jade Dragon Beauty is a good book. I've read up to chapter 51 so far and I like what I see. The grammar is good, the story is interesting, the world building stands up to scrutiny and the characters are mostly 3 dimensional. There is less dialogue than I would prefer but writing conversations is difficult and what is there is well done. The direction the story is headed in is also quite fascinating and I can't wait to see where the author takes us next. 5/5 would recommend a read, give it a try.

I am only at chapter 6, but have already added this to my favorites. If you like cultivation stories, I highly recommend this one.
Great world building - love the mythic dragon story. Characters are gradually being filled in and layered. Wonderfully, it looks like the main sect is actually nurturing and admirable - which is a first for me and more how I hoped cultivation sects would be. I am really enjoying that aspect of the story.
Good mix of action and story, with good flow. Zero filler, very few typos. Writing is skillful and well done - I can see the author put a lot of thought and care into crafting this tale.
The heroine Mo Shen really appeals to me. She is sensible, hard-working and focused. She looks after herself and is no martyr, but she is still kind and thoughtful and helps others. Again, a first for an MC in a xanxia story (ok, I can think of one or two others, but Mo Shen is a standout).
The quality of this story is outstanding and I have added this author to my follows. This story is truly a hidden gem; beats me how some truly awful stories seem to have so many followers while this one languishes in obscurity. Sad it was dropped; I hope some day it is finished and better appreciated.
Thank you author for sharing your wonderful tale and good luck in your writing journey. Blessings and I wish you much success!
