In a world of cultivation, body tempering, and magic, having power is the only way to survive. However, power is not something that anyone can obtain. If you are not talented at birth, there are few things one can do to overcome it. Most are destined to live and die in poor obscurity.

Fillan Strand was born to live like this. With talent unlike anything the world had ever seen, talent so foul even the most stoic of masters would laugh at him, Fillan could never amount to anything in his life.

Luckily for him, he's got countless of them.
