Description

For so long he had waited.

Five years in the prime of his life, wasted. And now finally, after so long, he was returning to society, ready to resume his life. And this time he wouldn't make the same mistakes. This time, he would do it right.

Yet just as he was about to gain his freedom...everything changed. He found himself in a new world without explanation, a world of magic and possibilities beyond his wildest dreams.

His second chance is different from what Cayden had expected, but he's determined to make the most of it.

Generic reborn in a fantasy world litRPG. My plan with this story is to be a little more standard webnovel: longer story with consistent upload schedule.

Usually, it's difficult for LitRPG stories to have the main character start off as a baby, as the lack of agency is near insurmountable without utilizing a time-skip, but readers want to see the main character progress with the system. This story circumvents this pitfall by locking everyone out of the system until they turn 12, which means the narrative can afford to focus on anything interesting or relevant, and skip the rest.
Besides that slight distinction, this is shaping up to be a fairly typical Isekai LitRPG, albiet written very well. If you're interested in progression fantasy, you're in for a treat. Technicals are polished, and the narration has a nice flow. Overall, a great story, with much potential. Give it a try!

I really Like the Story and the pacing so far. Nobody ist super friendly and He isnt fucking stupid or arrogant.
The world building ist quite nice so far and the Race Change intressting. I would Love to See more of the world, because the world is small right now, but with a Lot of Potential to get bigger.
    Spoiler:
The Race and the leveling are going to be intressting and keeping me intrested in the Story. ... So much possibilitys - Wing, tail with a razor sharp Edge ... More Arms, more eyes, Horn, Runes, growth, Natural armor and Many many More (fire breath, Shooting Spikes, Blades, are Code)
Thank you author for the Story!

I have been waiting FOR SO LONG, for a good monster mc story. This half human stuff with the kobold is a crime though and unforgivable like, look at how they massacred my blacksmith boy. Besides that, fun read, great for LITRPG beginners and monster fans. Can't wait to see it have more chapters! Loving the MC, great plot with the family, and I wonder what the capital holds in store for us, with it's possible dark secrets?

This story is a slow burn. But it's clear that the author has a plan and is executing it well. There is a good beginning of a plot, but there is also a solid slice-of-life feel that only works in slow burn stories. The world building is top notch with several really cool ideas that form together to keep the MC and us on our toes as we learn more about it.
I'm always excited to see this story update and read it first chance I get.

But I feel terrible about the end part of the book.
Good things first. It was exactly what I wanted. Still a kid but more mature, not only work hard but also get rewarded. Some plot here and there, the important thing is mc getting stronger, yes, improve yourself, yes. Of course, use that sweet power too. Basically, a version of mushoku tensei at the start.
Then time skip and school arc, they were great. Nothing much to say.
Last, the end part. I don't like it.
I don't like it because Cayden wants to challenge the Duke in a super dumb way that made no sense to me. He knew there was something fishy with the dungeon break about his parent death. I get it, he is mad. However, there was the rat dungeon arc that should have made the mc realize, rushing face first without prep is stupid. He should try to at least find info first. Instead, all he thinks about is I want to question the Duke, a super powerful political figure with strong power's as fast as possible because I cannot wait.
Then, he took this a step further, I got to follow the Duke and the princess right into an obvious danger not because I want to protect people, but because I'm dumb so I have know what they are saying at all cost. So he charged forward.
Feels so wrong because Cayden had never done something so stupid and rash before
Then, the confrontation with Duke. Oh boy, he took his sweet time to gather himself, when he should have done that before running face long into danger. You start calming down when you are facing your revenge target, really? Like you have to ask him did you do it when you were so angry you want to challenge this political and skill powerful guy ASAP but stop when you see him. What if he said no, I had nothing to do with it?
Anyway, then, the 3 teir skill. A mild discomfort compare to his suddenly  gained emotion swinng and stupidness. Basically feel unnatural and plot armor save mc type of save. But sweet skill, very cool. Maybe it was already teir 2 would make more sense bit I d

Not only does the author have a unique race system, or at least unique to me.  He also has a very relatable and emotionally grounded grouping of two protagonists.  What makes their pairing so interesting is one is interested in exploring all. Of the intricacies of the skills system while the other one has enough skill slots to make her exploration possible.
The Grammer and sentence structure are top notch.
Hopefully the author keeps it coming.

style seems fine though nothing fancy. Grammar seem fine.
characters: 4/5 or 3/5? I'm normally not that aware of this aspect, as that's not my focus, though I know there are other novels in which's characters I'm a lot more invested and look forward to theim doing stuff more, hence not full stars. Am fine with the protag though, and that's what matters most.
litrpg focus: 4/5. Solid. Stats and whatnot surely matter a lot to people and doesn't get disregarded. I'd like to say stats are consistent too. There is a potential error due to a certain ability interaction in the late game, but in hindsight I shouldn't have complained about it in the comments as much since there are ways and time to solve that.
power progression focus: 4.5/5. Or the protag focuses a lot on it, alternative povs being minimal. He isn't getting stronger solely for power's or "to be free to do what I want" sake, especially now, but nonetheless am glad this isn't a slice of life... ok, so "slice of life" is apparently one of the novel's tags, yet I don't care, or didn't mind it when the tag applied.
mainly I just like how the skills progress here. There's planning of builds, experimentation, research, even if the system itself seems simple.
overall, am nowhere near dropping this one. It ain't a masterpiece, and likely far from the "best quality" novel I'm reading, but it suits my tastes just fine.

Ach, short titles. The author exceeds what I expect from the genre. With a light hand and staying within the structure, he creates enjoyable characters and binge worthy pacing. I’m not sure how he does it. Nothing is out of expectations. The plot doesn’t abandon the genre, have shocking surprise twists, or unexpected leaps. His characters aren’t complicated. The prose doesn’t leap to Nobel laureate quality.
All together, along with a light pacing, he exceeds the sum the parts of the novel. An unexpectedly enjoyable read. Among my top novels on RR (I read the first book on Amazon).

a slow progression story with a not op MC that has to carry himself throw his new life in a new world. its a good/solide story but nothing that makes it a masterpiece. The start was interesting but after that .... the hole school chapters are a bit to boring and there is nothing interesting happening. The MC get a boost of exp for his skills(big fight/unexpected events) in like 2 chapters and then it stops for the next 20 chapters. there is no steady progression or at least it don´t feels like it.
For me its a bit to slow and the MC is a bit to weak. around every second chapter i get a reminder about one thing that i don´t understand since the start of the story:
why is he reborn and still "silly" compare to his frinds when i comes so figure things out. i think he never even used any knowledge from his life on earth so the hole point of reborn is a bit useless.
i really hope he somehow gets a bit stronger or get at least a use out of his "reborn", that makes him at least a bit stronger/smarter then other in the story.

It´s defently a typical start for a reborn in another world Litrpg type of story with the only diference being the chose your own race type of system witch can lead to interesting places.
The qualaty of the writing is good nothing rely standing out.
The only realy negative it´s the heading of the story where an op male mc does  violence for power/money/reasons with the suport of the female caracters an then repets ad infinitum. Theres also the start of the mc does everything beter then everyone else type of deal witch i realy don´t like but i will still follow the story soo.
