The concept might not be groundbreaking, but it has enough charm and personality to stand out.
Sure, the pacing stumbles now and then, and the grammar could use some polish.
But honestly? I didn’t care. I was hooked.
This is pure fluff, and I mean that in the best way. As a hopeless romantic, I loved the sweet, heart-fluttering moments. The romance alone earns it a gold star from me.
It felt like comfort food, you sit down for a bite and suddenly you've devoured the whole thing. I binged to Chapter 52 (end of Volume 1) in one sitting. That says a lot.
The main cast is lovable, the villains are easy to hate, and the system is unique enough to stay interesting. Power scaling worked fine for me too.
Highly recommended if you're looking for a fun, feel good read!

It is easy to read and enjoyable. The plot is standard for the genre but the execution is of good quality and shows that the author knows the genre well. I also like the fact that it is from a westerner point of view because it is really complicated to connect with some of those manhwa heroine because of diverging cultural norms. For example : the trope around being orphaned which seems to be a huge stigma in modern Korean society  not so much in other societies so I was always taken a bit aback about the fact that it will create some discrimination and be a source of shame for the MC.
I will give a 5 star rating as I will like to encourage the author to write more as there are not a lot of romantic novel on this website.
so please please continue this novel

An unusual perspective for a rofan, with an interesting, slowly unfurling plot that suggests a lot of depth. What the prose lacks in fluency is more than made up for by its raw vigor that makes the main narrator's personality leap off the screen. I am definitely looking forward to how it goes.

Ok so first, this review is meant to be a generally positive one.
    THE GOOD:
The author has solid characters and grammar isn’t too bad. There are a couple mistakes here and there but nothing that some edits won’t fix.
The MC feels like a person to an extent, and tends to be pretty proactive in his approach to solving problems. Some other reviews have mentioned that he gets “overpowered” and while they are right to some extent, (more to be discussed later), MC still struggles against enemies and takes some fat L’s so it’s not like he never loses.
Finally the author seems to avoid some of the pitfalls with these type of “reincarnated into a story” stories. The timelines diverge almost immediately, with some pretty major consequences that leave both MC and the reader guessing.
    THE BAD:
Holy frick on toast with a cocaine sandwich does this story have pacing issues. First the character gets immensely strong out of nowhere. MC goes from being Stephen Hawkings’ hot disabled cousin to almost immediately being able to cross a 100 meters in a step.
Another perfect example of the pacing issue,
( SPOILERS from chapters 18-20ish. You’ve been warned.)
is the month timeskip after placing FMC into the Mayor’s position at the end of the chapter. The story immediately skips to the MC coming back from a raid to an attack on his town. Who is getting killed? Frick if I know. Do I care? Probably less than that one time that my aunt regaled me with the plight of the endangered spotted sardines native to the Amazon River during Thanksgiving dinner.
The author misses a huge opportunity here. The author had a golden opportunity to flesh out his city, FMC, her friends, and the environment. 3-5 chapters could literally still be inserted in that gap, with no further modifications whatsoever and the story would be better for it.
Ok so, TLDR, the story has potential even in its current state. Author if you are reading this SLOW THE FRICK DOWN. Tell me about grandma Jones, the old lady on the corne

Ok so it's a bit of a rough start with some issues with grammar and things like that but it smoothed out a bit later on. Its a good story as long as you can fill in a bit with your imagination.
I really don't understand why they put word limits on reviews like this. It just discourages leaving them.

So I liked this book quite a bit but it somehow got worse as it went on instead of better. And the ending of book one is where I personally will end up dropping it due to the MC's overwhelming plot armor. In the purest sense.
The mc is beaten by a mage who can manipulate memories and is  overwhelmingly powerful with memories of the timeline who could kill everyone and warp memories to his own desire but refuses to kill the prince as a child and instead fear him? So therefor the MC gets to live for some reason to protect the god tier mage.
It had a lot of potential and definitely was worth the read of book one. Just the ending was very hard to come to terms with me. I would say give it a shot. might be for you.

The dialog and word structure just kills it for me, I made it a few chapters before I had to stop.
Small examples from the novel: "“This group. The mayor. My castle. Go.”" "Ah. Fuck it. We ball." "My first kill. In this world."
Every chapter I see stuff similar to the examples given, if it wasn't so often I could have ignored it and kept reading but it's pretty much every chapter I read up to so far.
If it's ever changed I would consider coming back and giving it a better read through since the story could very well be good.

The essential idea is interesting enough. A man wakes up reincarnated in character from a book and needs to change the story. But in this case the story was about a different main character (not him). So how does the story go?
But the writing itself is difficulty to follow. The persepective shifts from character to character with little to indicate the shift has occurred. The story telling in the first person is written in a way that makes it harder to follow what's going on as the viewpoint character throws their thoughts into the action with minimal indication of thought vs action. The blue boxes are large images that (in early chapters) have the text repeated directly under them.

Feels weird dropping a book when I only have 6 chapters left, but I don't really know how I made it this far. Probably just momentum from how much I enjoyed earlier chapters?
Only one main crippling problem with the latter portions of this story: too many perspective changes. 90% of the time I have absolutely no idea who the main perspective character is or who to attribute the dialogue to.
The action sequences are cool though.

Mc has a system that by system standards is already pretty broken, him putting 'points' into attributes doesn't matter at all because he can just switch them between different stats on the fly whenever he wants with zero draw back, and while some have the excuse of them 'earning' it this one doesn't even do that, he can just do it right out the gate lol
Basically if you like op mcs you'll like this I guess, but that ain't my cup of tea
