In the synopsis the story looks funny and fun, and in fact it is. The point of view on human society is very well realized (special mention to the recasting of the chapters I heard about)
The point of view of the main character may be too "human" but it is explained later with the story of his clan and the intelligence of its kind. I read this story with great pleasure.
However, I am worried about the speed at which the author can finish it because with years of writing, , our dear trainer has for the moment only one badge. Sincerely hoping to see the continuation of this work. 👍💯

The characters I find particularly fun, their banter sticking out to me as extremely well written and entertaining.
This story is serious when it says knowing about Pokemon Emerald beforehand is a good idea. I'm pretty knowledgeable on Pokemon in general but found myself occasionally at a loss or quickly searching up something for quick reference, which I actually see as a positive. I love the constant mix of action, drama, and suspense. The battles are fun and innovative for the series. The character interactions are a joy, getting the insights into each of them. But my favorite aspect of this story has to be Astra's secret identity and her view of the world. It's a constant source of suspense and drama that this story really is made better for featuring so heavily.

I don't do in depth reviews, for me a story is good if makes me want to keep reading and then cry when there are no more chapters. I love the awkward interactions between our adorable Ralts and humans, and the events that happen when she runs into weird human contraptions like toilets and showers.
You should definitely give this story a read, good fun, good grammer, lovable characters.

I've been exploring the pokemon fanfic scene ever since I started Borne of Caution on a whim; I'd assumed that 'all fanfics are bad' still held true. That's no longer the case, though; this is one of those fics that makes you like pokemon again, even as an adult.

There are few stories that I have enjoyed as much as this (and none to the point that I actually mustered up the courage to write a review), it even has art sometimes!
The characters have all been great so far, I haven't found a single one I don't like and our main trio have a great dynamic that makes them actually feel like friends!
My only gripe is the upload schedule but not much can be done about that short of locking yourself in a room until words happen so we'll just have to live with that

There are just no battles. So far, the main direction is on the psychological development of the character. The protagonist is strong, but there is an explanation for his strength.
The author conveys the character very well. I really feel him like an aborigine in the world of people

Writing this when "Confusion" is the newest Chapter: Astra is super cute, and her constant misunderstndings/not knowing stuff thats obvious for humans is funny. The story also has fascinating details, like the ancestor, that one stone or Winter's Eye, just to name a few. I wonder when her Secret gets out and how others will react. Just wish there was more of this.

There are so many pokemon fics on royal road but not many at all that explore a non-human 'pokemon' protagonist, especially one that can be disguised as a human. I just love the deep delve into how inhumane the whole pokemon world is to pokemon as well as how dynamic the tones of this fic is as it shifts from the playful interactions of Aster and her friends to the hostility of humans. I can't wait for more chapters ;3

So glad that I found this story. There so many mediocore pokemon fan fics, but this is one of the few that shine. They expand wonderfully on the pokemon world, and include many fun characters. I highly reccomend this to anyone who is a fan of pokemon. If your unfamilar with pokemon you can enjoy it as well though! Give this great story a shot

Tried writing a review, felt done, everything dissapeared and I don't want to bother writing it all again.
It's about a ralts who seems to have a mindset not too far away from humans (everyone who have grown up in that village probably is like that) and soon becomes a trainer aiming to become the champion to save her village.
Think about it! A POKEMON trainer training POKEMON. Interesting stuff
It's really good quality! So read it!
